Abhira : The self-respect queen
There are many new posts criticizing yesterday's episode so I will try and not do the same.
my point here is that they r drifting away from the characters audience loves so much. Raman for me is a strong but sensitive man and even at his weakest he knows how to claim what rightfully belongs to him.For eg: During the accident track even though he knew he was hurting Ishita by supporting Shagun/Aditya but he still maintained Ishita is his wife and said so when she was acting out her anger outside the court after beating up Parmeet the pervert. If he had truly accepted Ishita as his wife he would have trusted Ishita more than Shagun and would not have back stabbed her by destroying evidences behind her back while claiming to help her .He would not have gone out with his ex wife on a vacation if he cared about Ishita's feelings.Raman was once a weak soul when he was married to Shagun and thats why it was so easy for her to break him completely but now he is very strong so when he thought Ishita was cheating on him he claimed her in the scene when he tried to misbehave with her. I know most people will disagree with me but I loved that scene please dont think I support any kind of abuse on women but we all know Raman as a character isnt abusive or mean he is an honest man and I truly believe he wouldnt do anything to Ishita all he was trying to do was letting her know she rightfully belongs to him and he can claim her if he wants as a husband and he will not accept defeat or let her go.Oh so he was trying to claim her by forcing himself on her .How can that be justified .Firstly , a women is not a thing to claim or posses .There is no difference between Ashok ,Param and him in this matter .Nothing can justify an attempt to martial rape .That attitude of his showed how much he respects women.Well point being I like Raman as an authoritative strong and crude man I don't like the new Raman who is going to sacrifice his happiness and leave Ishita for hers. Raman was a character very close to reality and thats why people love him so much. He should stand by Ishita rather than leave her because that will be alot more painful for her than the current pain caused by the villains of the show because bad people are expected to do bad but it hurts the most when people you love leave you high and dry in times of need.I agree with you on this .If he truly loved her then he should stand by her and support her .Running away from problems is not a solution .I still prefer this side of Raman who is sensitive than a rude Raman who was insulting his wife at every step with his one liners and rude comments.Him crying nonstop and deamonizing himself is baseless when Ishita has made it loud and clear on multiple occasions she is happy with him and his family.I know its a daily soap and it needs drama so I accept Shagun's wedding saga, Mihika's self sacrificing to save Shagun (the woman who doesn't let go of one opportunity to insult Raman and Ishita), even the jealousy track but please for the sake of drama dont mess with the integrity of the characters which the true fans love who have been watching this show from day dot.
If a man cries that doesn't make him a weak man .For a change Raman is thinking about other feelings instead of his own pain. There is some growth in his character .I was fed up seeing a ruthless man who can hurt his wife and still not feel sorry about it .
His tears dont make him weak his baseless logic and his failure to stand by his wife makes him weak.My answers are in REDMy responses are in blue I hope I have cleared your doubts. And all of the above is just my opinion.
