When Salman's parents thanked Priyanka for gracing Arpitas wedding

Salman Khan's younger sister Arpita Khan tied the knot with long time beau Ayush Sharma in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Said to be one of the biggest weddings of the nation, it was attended by many a B'Town celebrities. And despite her work commitments, Priyanka Chopra made it to wedding to be a part of her good friend Arpita's big day.

Though there have been stories about a rift between Salman and Priyanka, she and Arpita have still been friends. The two have often showered each other with love and praises on social networking sites.

Priyanka's presence at the wedding impressed Arpita's father Salim Khan. The veteran actor-screenwriter thanked the "Mary Kom" star for attending his daughter's wedding.

A source present at the wedding revealed that Salim Khan took to the stage to thank Priyanka for attending the wedding despite her hectic schedule.

Apart from Priyanka, the other celebrities who attended the wedding included Karan Johar, Katrina Kaif, Varun Dhawan, Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan.

The newlywed couple will have a grand reception in Mumbai on November 21.

No need to thanked her...she was her fren n it was expected...i mean we can do atleast these typ of thngs to our fren right...so why mke a big deal abt it...n also didnt they know in frenshp no thank u n no sorry...
