exact difference btw OS/SS/FF

can someone please explain the clear meanings of OS/SS/FF etc? i m still confused!

...let me try...(though i was myself confused abt it...and was scared to ask...kyunki LOG KYA BOLENGE SYNDROME .😆)...but after reading so many stories ..here my 50 % doubt is gone...(mera dimaag thoda sa kaam kiya...aur apne aap samajh gaya...😛.)

so...:

1) OS= one shot story...telling ur story...may be in one part

2) SS= short story...with few parts

3)FF=fan fiction...more chpters...with more parts...and may be different story track than what we actually see in YHM
