Hi guys, I am finally back with the update after 3 full weeks. Did you miss me? I certainly missed writing for all my dear dear friends.🤗
Today's episode starts with Purab's boring diwali party in full swing. (I swear, client parties are always sooo sooooo boring!!!). Purab tells Mr. and Mrs. Mehta that Minakshi is not his fiance. He turns to introduce Jassi, but she has vanished.😭
Meanwhile Billo papaji asks Amrit who was bothering her. Amrit tells him that the GM gang must have lied to him as they wanted to drink. Hearing this, Nandu bhi kalti kha leta hai.😆
And then, guess who comes along to add some spice to the already spicy party – THE BAND OF BOYS!!!🤢 (yey lo – ek hi episode mein MM and Purab!!! Adi baba ko bhi bula lete Kaajal se!!!) Anyways, they sing a boring song that I have never heard or will ever hear again.
Minakshi is getting more and more impatient to meet Purab's mystery woman. She wants to know what she has that Minakshi didn't. She bumps into Nandu who splashes his drink over her arm and saree. Nandu tells her that it was not his drink but his melted heart that splashed over her.🤣 Minakshi remarks that she didn't know that finance and poetry could reside in one single brain. She then excuses herself saying that she needs to wash off Nandu's melted heart from off her arm.
The gang are laughing and trying to enjoy themselves when our suave cool Coffee Ice-cream aka Armaaan Suri walks in.😳
In the meantime Jassi comes and hands Minakshi a tissue. Minakshi tells Jassi that she is surprised to see her at her rival company's party. Jassi tells her that it is not necessary that you cannot have a personal relationship as well as a professional one with the same person. Minakshi agrees with her and tells her that the first time she met Purab, it had been for business. But the moment she met him, she decided that if she ever married, it would have to be Purab. She then admits that she loves Purab. She then goes on to add that you should marry a person whose thoughts will keep you awake all night, an hour spent in his company will be like one minute and a minute spent without him will seem like an hour. And her parting advice to Jassi is – don't settle for anything less (she didn't!!!😳).
Armaan is with Purab, congratulating him. Purab says that this is the first time they were meeting as friends – I don't know what to say.
Armaan – jo beet gaya woh kal tha – usko bhool jao. Aaj hum aane walle kal ki khushiyan mana rahe hein.
Purab – mere liye to yey ek nai shuruaat hai.
Armaan – mere liye bhi. Waise tumhari hone walli biwi dikhai nahin de rahi jisse tum mujhse churake leke jaa rahe ho. (hai kya dialogue mara re – Hansa ka dil chalni-chalni ho gaya)😳.
Purab looks at him, a little stunned and Armaan corrects himself – I mean jisse tum GM se churake leke jaa rahe.
Purab then walks over to Jassi and Minakshi and says – so you have finally met her. Minakshi tells him that she knows Jassi very well as she is the CEO of GM. Purab then says – today, get to know her even better because she is also my fiance. The loud – dhadhan-dhadhan sound comes in the background as the camera zooms in on Minakshi who is absolutely stunned.
Armaan walks over to the trio and says – from your expression I can make out that you have got the good news. This is often how people react. There is a big difference between meeting Jassi and knowing Jassi 😳(ab Armaan Sir se behtar aur kaun ye baat jaan sakta hai). Once you get to know her, you will get to know her good qualities as well (is this the same Armaan who said just a few episodes back – I hate you Jassi????????😕 This is what happens when you are about to lose something – muhse thareef ke alawa kuch nikalta hi nahin!!!).
Minakshi congratulates Jassi and says that she is sure that eventually she will get to know Jassi's good qualities. She says, "you don't know how lucky you are Jassi," before going away. Then Armaan too excuses himself saying that he doesn't want to be a kabab mein haddi. (Awwww, worry not Armu – it is time for the real kabab mein haddi to pack his bags and leave).😆
Minakshi raises a toast to Purab, before all the guests. She says that Purab has changed himself completely to suit his ideal woman. Jassi and Purab are hurt by her remarks. Minakshi goes on to add that there's going to be some dancing, and the first couple to go on the floor are Purab and Jassi. They play 'do lafzo ki hai, dil ki kahani' – it's a beautiful romantic song from AB's Great Gambler – wish they had played it for janda.😳 Jassi can't waltz and is thoroughly embarrassed that everyone is looking at them.
Nandu senses her discomfort and goes and puts on bhangra music and starts dancing with Jassi.(Chak de phatte Nandu. Dost ho toh aisa!!!)👏 The GM gang and others join in as well.
Minakshi goes to Purab and asks him what has happened to him. His ideal woman was never like Jassi. She was more like her. Jassi could never be his ideal woman. Jassi overhears Minakshi and tells Purab that she has heard a lot today, and is in no mood to hear more. Minakshi was right – she could never be his ideal woman. Saying so, she walks away.
Purab tries to go after her, then turns back to Minakshi and tells her that she was never his ideal woman and never would be.
In the meantime Jassi runs up to Armaan Sir and asks him to take her home. Armaan says, "but Jassi, woh...." Jassi pleads with him not to ask her any questions but to drop her home. Armaan lightly holds her elbow and says, "ok, come." (Yaaaaaaaayyyy, Armaan Sir, once again to the rescue!!!😃) Purab sees our dear Armaan Sir leading Jassi to the door. (and Hansa claps her hands with glee 😃– nothing personal Purab uncle – just want janda to be together). Jassi turns back at the door and their eyes meet. Purab frowns as he so often does, the camera zooms on him and and and – THE END!!!
COMMENTS – It was a good episode, and I simply can't wait for Monday's episode. For once janda with be together and not talking about GM!!! Tina you are soooooo lucky – you will be updating some fantastic episodes next week.
