CHAPTER 1 : THE UNKNOWN
She walked down the stairs to meet the eyes of the hall. In a hall full of elites, she looked quite different and uninvited. Every head turned around to look at her. Everyone there was confused and shocked on her presence in the hall. "A mere being being invited to a ceremony reserved for elites! Maybe she is called by the brahmin. She might be one of them!" a woman clad in her jewels, in a heavily gold-embroidered saare said. She turned to take a look at the lady. "Clothes are a mere covering for the soul. Just like plans are a covering to crimes. Ma'am, remember I am might not be wearing a gold-embroidered saare like you but I have a purer soul then yours" . And saying so, she continued her way to the center of the hall. "I never knew they knew how to speak in front of the rich! Well she will learn its prize too." the lady thought.
"A big welcome to all the elites present here. Today it is a great day for us. Since, today our prince is going to take charge of the throne. Today, our prince is will turn our king." an announcement was made. Guards went up to stand alert. Every eye in the hall went straight to the entrance to find rose petals laid in its place. Everyone was ready to welcome the royal. "All hail the king!". The hall roared out a great hail to welcome their king, who entered into the hall. "All hail the queen!". Once again a roar came through to welcome the queen. "Hails to the prince. The king to be!" a final loud welcome was spread for the king to be, the prince.
When the royals had sat, the processions for the ceremony began. The brahmins started chanting the holy mantras. The rajyabhishek for the prince was still in process when a sound rose. "Pranipaat maharaj!". The king, who was enraged on that call, replied. "I can distance your neck from you body this very second". "A king who has no control on his subjects, will do that?" the reply followed. "Are you trying a new way to suicide?" the king asked in return. "In which rajyabhishek does a mere being dare to talk to a elite with that sense of confidence! A brahmin, that too a woman. No wonder you have lost any sense of control on your subjects!" the woman replied. "Have you lost your brains! A brahmin is next to God! Pointing to the her conduct and preaching is sheer nonsense and idiocy to do!" the king replied. The brahmins sitting were proud to here those words of wisdom from the mouth of their blind-in-power king. "Oh what a king you call yourself to be. Surely an impotent one! You rule Magadha. You rule Aaangha. You rule Treshtha and fear of a mere brahmin. Power is lost. Control never existed. I spit on a king who was never able to have control to brahmins around. Your son too willl be powerless and a puppet in the hands of brahmins." the woman said laughing and challenging the king.
"Have control on your tongue young lady. I shall never accept a word against me father! You wish to punish that brahmin lady, she surely will be! Guards!" the prince called out. "Putra! Brahmin should never be disrespected. Punishing the learned is nothing but a stupidity of human conduct!" the queen warned. "Maata! The name's called upon my father. Never a lesson will be learned if justice won't be imparted. This foul play of words will stop for once and for all!" the son replied.
The hall watched in shock as the guards dragged the brahmin lady through her hair in the feet of the prince. "Plans might be covering to crimes. But revenge is a medicine to disrespect!" the lady called out to the brahmin, who still was in the feet of the prince.
