Nisha was absolutely wrong when she said, nothing can be done with 15k. What's with that? Hasn't she seen her parents striving hard to earn money and she says its just 15k?
Her intention to take up a job is different, I agree. But today she was just plainly irritating. She is matured only when she is at home with her cousins.
Well I think Nisha as she said herself a few episodes back, acts very different when she is around Viraj and gets extremely awe-struck and weird around him. Since she sees him in a completely different light, she is prone to be more clumsy and haphazard, and hence tends to make that many mistakes. I also think that while Viraj is senior and has achieved much in life, it is common courtesy to atleast remember a person's name who has reminded him of it atleast a few dozen times. And whatever Nisha might be, she did help him quite a lot with his sister and despite her quirks, is extremely polite and helpful. And like you said, her intention to take up a job is to get a direction in her life, and isn't as much about the money. As for the 15k, I admit that it was odd for her to mention that keeping in mind of her own parent's financial struggle but I took it as a stand against Viraj when he taunted her.
I personally like the fact that she has those quirks and it shows her in a different light. Nisha is mature when it comes to her cousins because it is her family and she serves as the voice of reason amongst the rest of the craziness that comes along with the differing personalities and opinions of her cousins. This job is the very first opportunity she gets to do something on her own without her cousins and family, and undoubtedly this would lead to a little immaturity especially seeing the hero-worship she had for Viraj. I personally found it a little refreshing and I am sure after she gets a little used to it, she will become more level-headed. đ
Coming to the other tracks. Umesh and Dolly's track keeps this show going for me. Wonderful scenes today. I want to see more of this. Whatever Dadi was telling Umesh today, I felt she said the same to Ramesh too. It was totally applicable to him too. Umesh has to lead his life but he has to take care of his family too. Its his parents and he cannot leave them just like that. Dolly's track is interesting. Let's see how Vimla and Lakshmi handles it.
I think Umesh will have to find a balance between keeping his family happy and going after his dreams. However a situation has come where he really has to choose between the two. He knows that his family will perhaps accept Aman over a period of time, but by which Aman would have gotten married to another boy. As for the parallel with Ramesh's situation, I agree. Despite the mistakes Ramesh had made, marrying Laxmi I am sure, was certainly not one. So... lets see how it plays out. I think his family won't accept Aman initially but over a period of time, will come to terms with it and accept her. Yes, looking forward to Dolly's track. đ
Seems like Ramesh and Lakshmi handles the problems of all the kids in the house. The other two brothers and bhabis doesn't understand their kids that well.
I guess they, along with Dadi are much more open-minded and hence are able to understand the kids better.
