Hello peeps! I am back with my update! Really sorry for the delay. I am dedicating this update to starry.phoenix for making this beautiful banner for me and to.. any guesses? to shruthi14 for being so persistent in asking for an update, otherwise this update would have come up after another 2-3 days. 😆

Chapter - 3 - The slip of control and the revelation.
He came near her and forcibly holding her hands at the sides claimed her lips.
Madhu woke up screaming. She held her spinning head, closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths to get her racing heart under her control. As the last of the nightmares left her bringing her back to reality, fear overwhelmed her as she realized how realistic her nightmare was. She rubbed her head wiping of the sweat that had formed even though the AC was on. She has been thinking of a way out to save herself from him and didn't realize when she drifted off to sleep. She looked at the alarm clock on the side table which showed the time to be 2am. She breathed out in relief, maybe he wouldn't come today, maybe she was saved for a day.
The door jerked open making Madhu flinch. The moment she had been dreading had come, and how much ever she wished, there was no backing away now. She looked at him straight into his eyes trying to find one glance of her old Rishabh in this man who now appeared to be a stranger. Fear gripped her heart as all she could find in those eyes was plain hatred.
RK came staggering forward. He had drank a lot, enough to forget his older bonds with Madhu and remember only his current motive which was to break her.
Madhu inched behind on the bed making RK smirk.
"Where do you think you will run away, hunh?" RK said giving her an evil grin.
"RK..No..Pl..Please don't..d..do this. Please I beg..beg of you.." Madhu desperately said only to get him more eager and confident.
"No.. NO RK! NO.. Do..don't come near me" Madhu screamed.
He laughed at her state and went to his side of the bed, put his hand under the pillow and reached for it. Just as she was about to jump off the bed he took her hand, put a handcuff over her wrist and the other part to the stump of the bed in a quick move. For a moment Madhu just stared at him and then looked at the handcuff and then him with horror filled eyes. Just as she was about to scream he pressed his lips on hers and held her other hand tightly behind her back. Madhu struggled hard to get out of his grip and tried to yank her other hand off only to have the handcuff bite into her wrist. Tears formed in her eyes as it dawned on her how helpless she was and made its way down her cheeks. RK bit her lips hard making her gasp in pain, taking the chance he swiftly moved his tongue in her mouth. By now Madhu had stopped struggling as it was of no use. Even RK calmed down a bit and his kiss that was violent at first slowly turned into a passionate one taking Madhu by surprise. Her self control slipped as she closed her eyes and let him take over her totally. He slowly broke the kiss as they both felt short of breath and started kissing her jaw. He made his way near her neck leaving soft wet kisses behind and she arched her neck behind giving him access as butterflies formed in her stomach. He continued kissing her neck and making his way down. His released her one hand he had been holding behind her back the second one still handcuffed to the stump of the bed. His hands made their way behind her back reaching for the zip of her suit slowly unzipping it relishing the noise it made. Madhu's free arm slowly travelled its way up his muscular chest and clutched his shirt tightly. Madhu ruffled his hair as he continued kissing her on her neck. She gasped as he found her sensitive spot on her neck and started kissing her there and nibbling it slowly. Unable to control so much pleasure all at once she gripped his hair and brought his face to hers and claimed his lips. He slid his tongue in her mouth again as both of their tongues dance around for supremacy. They broke the kiss again due to shortage of breath. Rishabh took a moment to look at her face. She looked dazed and her eyes passionate matching his. He slowly started pulling her the top of her suit up and Madhu raised her free hand helping him to do so. He removed it above her left arm and her face and left it at the side as it still stuck to her right hand. He looked at her milky white body hungrily and after closing the side lamp, snaked his arms behind her back holding her tight and started kissing and nibbling at her cleavage. His arms reached for her bra strap and he was about to unhook it when Madhu moaned, "Rishabhhh". Her words penetrated his clouded mind as years old passionate memories resurfaced and came in front of his eyes. He jerked and sat upright near her causing his hands to knock of the flower vase kept on the side table to fall down. As it feel and shattered into a million pieces the noise broke Madhu's daze and brought her back to reality. Madhu sat there scandalized as she understood what just happened and what could have happened. She felt thousand of emotions at once; shock, disbelief, anger, to say she felt disgusted with her own self for losing control would be an understatement. She hated herself for how she reacted back to his touches. Angry tears made its way down her cheeks clouding her vision. She looked the other side as she felt her right hand being freed from the handcuff. Once released she curled her legs around herself, wrapped her hands around them and keeping her head down she cried miserably. There was a flash of light and a loud sound of the door closing, plunging her into darkness again.
What had happened should have never happened? How could she just enjoy or for that matter even give in like that. She felt tormented not knowing whom she should hate more, him, her fate or herself? She felt disgusted with herself beyond anything. She slowly stood with shaky legs holding her dress tight and made her way to the bathroom. Once inside she kept her salwar aside, still in her kameez she switched the shower on feeling the cold water on her body. She started scrubbing her face and body vigorously trying to get rid of the feel of his touch all over her which still lingered around. After a moment of violently scrubbing her body she stopped and slumped and sat on the bathroom floor. She curled into herself and shook after every few seconds gasping air as she cried badly. She shivered under the cold water but nothing mattered anymore.

RK held up the empty whisky bottled and smashed it on the counter. He took another whisky bottle and started drinking it in a shot. He wiped his face and looked at the shattered peices of glass reflecting his state of mind. A part of him was feeling good on seeing her broken but an another part couldn't bear to see her in the same state that too because of him. The past came back even though he had buried it years ago, it had still managed to resurface somehow. He moved towards his bed, flung himself on it and dozed off.

Madhu got up from the floor, switched the shower off. Wore her salwar top and went out. Her body was still wet and her dress clung to it. A rush of cold air greeted her when she stepped out of the bathroom. Shivering and with her teeth clattering she switched the AC off, searched for a dress in her bag and changed into dry clothes. She lay on the bed, tiredness took over and she slept off.

Rishabh caressed her face gently and tucked her hair behind her ear. Madhu smiled a beautiful smile while sleeping. Rishabh chuckled and took out the box. He nervously picked her hand and slid the cold metal ring with a beautiful diamond over her ring finger. Madhu turned on one side in her sleep facing Rishabh with the smile still on her face. Rishabh bent down and slowly whispered her name in her ear. Madhu got up with a jerk and looked up at him. His face just inches apart from hers now, Rishabh quickly leaned back embarrassed as Madhu though embarrassed glared at him.
"Were you trying to scare me again Rish?"Madhu said folding her hands over her chest.
Rishabh chuckles at this and answers, "No Madz. Sorry if I scared you off. I am here for something else."
Madhu looks at him suspiciously and after finding no hidden mischievousness behind the honest face of his lets her guard down and smiles at him.
"So what important work did you have that couldn't wait till tomorrow, huh?" Madhu asks him.
Rishabh bends down again and whispers in her ear, "The important thing is this!"
Saying that he makes her get up from the bed and stand straight. He kneels down and forwards her a box. Madhu looks at it wide eyed and when he nods she opens it and screams when a joker comes out it aiming for her face and drops it down. Rishabh falls into fits of laughter as Madhu tries to understand what happened. Madgu angrily glares at him and is about to walk off when Rishabh's words stop her.
"Happy 17th Birthday Madhu!", Madhu stops in her tracks and turns around surprised. She looks at the time which shows it to be exact 12. How could she ever forget her own birthday?
Rishabh stands up and grins at her reminding Madhu that she is still angry with him.
"Where's my gift?" Madhu asks him with attitude.
"Gift!? What gift?" Rishabh asks her faking innocence.
"Haww! What you mean is you could remember my birthday and wish me on time but you couldn't get me a gift. I hate you Rish!" Madhu says angrily and turns around but Rishabh catches her hand making her bump into his chest. He raises her hand in front of her and holds it in front of her face. Madhu squeals in excitement as she sees the ring but before she could say anything Rishabh speaks up, "Hold on! Don't get so excited! I just brought the ring because I couldn't make out what was engraved on it and then I just slid it onto your finger to see if your hand can look any better with it.
Madhu turns around quickly in anger. Rishabh laughs at her and gives her a mocking look.
Madhu removes the ring and is about to throw it at him when he catches her hand.
"Won't you tell me what's written on it Madz?" Rishabh asks her smirking.
"No! I won't. You and your stupid ring can both go to hell." Madhu angrily says.
Rishabh fakes being hurt and says, "You wound me Madz. BTW what were you thinking when you saw the ring? Were you.."
"I wasn't thinking anything, okay" Madhu says trying to cover up for her previous reaction.
"Yeah right! I get that. Prove it by just reading what's engraved on that." Rishabh says sarcastically.
Madhu gives him a exasperated look and turns the ring over to read what was engraved on it.
She gasps as she reads it and looks at him in shock to find him again kneeling down in front of her with a rose in hand.
"Is th.. this true.. Do you truly, I mean really Love m..me?" Madhu asks him wanting to confirm what she just read.
"No Madhu. I didn't have any other work right, so I thought let me waste that ring" Rishabh says sarcastically.
"Oh My God! That means.." Madhu says surprised when Rishabh cuts her off.
"Yeah Madhu! That means I truly, really, deeply love only and only you. Will you be my girlfriend?"Rishabh asks her nervously.
To say Madhu was feeling on top of the world would be an understatement. How many nights had she dreamed of it but today when it really happened she couldn't believe it. To be loved by the person you love is the happiest thing ever. She felt as if she got everything she had ever wanted. She looked at him with tears threatening to fall.
"Please care to answer. My legs are hurting." Rishabh says.
Madhu laughs and smacks him on his shoulder. She takes the rose from his hand and he stands up relieved. She turns around shyly and Rishabh back hugs her. He whispers in her ears in a husky voice, "I love you Madhu. I always have and I always will."
Madhu's eyes prick with unshed tears. She felt overwhelmed. Rishabh slowly turns her around and wipes the few stray tears that managed to come out and hols her face in his palms.
"I want to hear it too Madhu." Rishabh says as he looked into her eyes with sincerity. Madhu rises on her toes, cradling his head she kisses him taking Rishabh by surprise. He kisses her back with equal passion. When they break the kiss Madhu slowly whispers, "I love you too Rishabh"
After which they again kiss promising each other to be together always.

Madhu wakes up as the noise of a car's repeated honking breaks into her dream. It takes a moment for everything to register in her mind. The disgust returns back to her as she remembers what happened last night. The dream that she just had used to be the most beautiful moment in her life before now seemed to be all a lie. She got up pushing the blanket aside and made her way to the bathroom.

RK's dream was broken by someone's repeated knocking on the door. He groaned and got out of the bed. The person surely didn't love his life for disturbing RK like that. RK opened the door to find a tense Bittuji outside who handed him over lime juice for his hangover. RK took it harshly and Bittuji hesitantly told him, "Chief! She is here."
RK kept the glass back and glared at him fiercely.
"What the hell were you doing when she tried to come here?" RK shouted.
"Chief, I tried to stop her but I couldn't" Bittuji said scared.
"Useless creatures." RK said and walked down the stairs to find her waiting for him with a smirk in the leaving room.
Oh, how much he hated her.
"Missed me darling?" She asked in her usual sultry voice.
"JUST GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!" RK screamed at her.
Hearing the commotion Madhu who had come out looked at the girl confused.
"What's the hurry sweetheart? I don't plan on staying either." The lady said and walked up to RK. She kept her one hand behind his neck and with the other she traced his jaw, "I just wanted some money, you know"
Madhu looked at both of them with disgust and right at that moment RK pushed her off and turned to Bittuji, "Why the hell is she coming and asking me? Didn't you send her, her weekly check?"
"Ohoo, my hot angry young man, let me talk, come on turn around" She said keeping her hand on his shoulder.
"Don't you dare touch me" RK said jerking her hand off him.
The lady was about to take his hand in hers when she spots Madhu near the staircase. She looks at her puzzled and then smirks and asks, "Who are you madam? And may I ask what are you doing here?"
Madhu looked at her nervously thinking of ways to avoid the question when RK interrupted her thoughts, "She doesn't owe you an explanation"
"Well well I get it. Isn't she your new toy RK? Hmm, bad selection RK, certainly not RK's taste, I can't believe you chose a behenji like her, I mean, just look at her dressing sense." The lady said looking at her from head to toe.
Madhu glared at the unknown girl at her audacity to judge like this, "Who are you to judge me like that?"
"I, my dear," The lady said in a sing song voice "am Ms. Dipali Rishabh Kundra. Hope that explains a lot."
