The paunch line: Ram Kapoor

Don't be surprised if you bump into Ram Kapoor (Jai Walia in Kasamh Se) at Priyadarshini Park, jogging away.. The actor has finally decided to shed some extra kilos now. According to the buzz, Ram has already started following a regular diet chart and has been seen exercising every day.

A few weeks ago, Balaji Telefilms had instructed actor Ronit Roy to lose weight for his character Aparajit Ded. Now that Ronit has started flaunting his new lean, mean look, Balaji wants Ram Kapoor to follow suit. Ram too has put on a lot of weight and needs to get back into shape.

The actor, who is doing two daily soaps Kasamh Se and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, hardly gets time for himself. But he makes it a point of wake up early in the morning. When contacted, Ram seemed more than happy to share his exercise regimen. He said, "I stay close to Priyadarshini Park, so I go out for jogging every morning. After I come back home, I take rest. Then, I do my cardio-vascular exercises for half-an-hour. I do not get the time to hit the gym, but I make it a point to do the free-hand exercises, which really helps."

The actor has stopped having food on the sets and his wife Gautami has already made the required arrangements for him. Every day, she sends a diet lunch box for him on the sets. Added Ram, "I have been strictly instructed to avoid oily food. Now, my diet contains a lot of salads and juices. Sometimes I do miss the spicy food."

When quizzed if the production house has asked him to lose weight, he said, "I have always been a health- conscious man. But after I joined Kasamh Se, everything went haywire. I started taking things for granted, and thought I would again concentrate on my body, after Kasamh Se got over. But I joined Kyunki… since I could not say 'No' to Ekta. It was then I realised that I seriously needed to take care of my health."

we got bored with Ram kapoor and prachi in 'Kasam se 'and stopped seeing that serial long back. We were clueless how that serial got so many awards. okay aggreed. we might have missed the great action by both of them. Now Ram kapoor is in kyunki. we thought it may be better to see him and judge without any prejudice.
But, he is again dissappointing us with his overaction and his so called cats. It is crazy. so whenever I see him on the screen, I change the channel. Even the 3 bahus and Ekalavya's present track is so boring. Only Lakshya, Abheer and Bhommi's roles are watchable. I think Abheer looks so good and acts very well only in Kyunki.
Gautami is doing good job but sometimes becomes bubbly because she really is young. But Original Tulsi was mature and acts according to the role she used to play.
Mihir has suddenly became active and started acting chirpy in Gautami's presence.
