Part -77

Morning..

Geet and Maan were in their room..Geet was taking out her dress to wear in marriage...Maan was watching her ..he noticed the expressions of Geet while inspecting the dress..He knew that she picked up some random dress from FH to wear in the marriage...he got up from his place open his side of coupboard.. Geet was busy in selecting the accessories to wear with the dress and did not notice what Maan was doing..

After doing his work Maan said to geet-Geet..I m going to see what is going there at the marriage venue..You get ready till then..and take my clothes out too..

Geet looked at him and nodded-Ok..

Geet selected the accessories to wear and got up to keep the remaining back in to the cupboard. After keeping them secured there she turned and saw some boxes on the bed..she picked them ..they seemed some jewelry boxes and the packet of dress..

she opened the box of the dress and seeing the dress her eyes got wider with surprise or say with shock..it was the same dress which she made for herself and had to give to Maria...she could not believe at her eyes..because she made so many efforts to convince the person who made that dress but he clearly said no for making that again as time was very short and he had lot of orders in his hands.

Geet was now confused to see it there.. She held the dress in her hand and inspected it-Did Maria returned it back?..but why would she? she loved it a lot and she almost begged for it..then how can it be here?

She was lost in her thoughts when she heard the click sound of door opening..

She looked and and found Maan standing with a sweet smile on his lips..

Geet rushed towards him-Maan..ye dress..kahaan se aayi? Did Maria send it back?

Maan-Why she would send it back..she wore that in her marriage..

Geet-tho? How it is here?

Maan-Because this is your dress..so it has to be here

Geet-But how it s possible? You know I tried my best but I could not get it..How did you arrange it?

Maan-Geet..You are not Maan Singh Khuramna..who can make every work possible which is impossible for other..and Geet raised her eyebrows as if she sensed something fishy

and Maan diverted her mind-Did you not like it? Ok give me back ..i will give it to someone else..I thought that it was your fav. dress..saying bthis he showed her a little irritation

Geet-NO..I didn't mean that.. It's my fav..and I missed it too..but you were not supposed to do this ..I had managed with some other dress..

Maan-I know..but you know I was feeling bad for this dress..Geet..i know that you don't need this dress to look beautiful but this poor dress..He was telling her in some dramatic way-you know that the day you gave it to Maria..it was looking very sad as if saying to me that it needed you to look beautiful..How could I ignore the request of this dress ..That's why I arranged it so that it can feel good . See how much happy this dress is now .ab jaldi se isko pahan lo taki ye khush ho jaaye..

Geet was gaping at him with open mouth at what he was talking.-You only thought about this dress?

Maan-nahin tumhaare bare me bhi socha..I could see you in my imagination wearing this dress . You were looking most beautiful among all by wearing it..

he said in a dreamy way

And Geet again looked at him with a frown and asked -How did you manage?

Maan sighed- Now stop interrogating me like this..you are asking me like I have done some crime and you are going to punish me..come on Geet ..Think of this poor man ..he deserves some reward for this effort for making his Mallikaa-E Husn happy.

.( Maan deliberately trying to distract her as he wanted Geet to forget about the dress as most dangerous question was still left to be asked by Geet and that was about the cost of the dress..As she was a designer so it was very obvious for her to guess the cost. She could easily guess that someone has to pay extra to get something at the earliest)

Geet shook her head-Maan you are turning fully in to a flirt now days.. everyone is going to find that soon...Only you need a flower in your hair to show the world that you are a gone case..and she picked up a rose from the vase and put it on his ear

..now you are truly looking a majnu..

Maan- I know..so now May this majnu get his reward?..

Geet-Maan..I m your wife not your girlfriend..

Maan-Abhi wife kahaan bani ho...uske liye to aaj raat tak wait karna padega..pahle shadi to hone do tabhi to wife banogi na meri..you are till my fianc so in that way you are my girlfriend..aur girlfriend nakhre nahin dikhaati..and saying this he cupped her face and rubbed the corner of her lips with his thumb..Geet shuddered and closed her eyes..

Maan-Geet open your eyes..

But she denied and then he jerked her towards him and she held his shoulders...he by holding the back of her neck was pulling slowly towards her to bring her close to him.And with that jerk she opened er eyes and looked at him

Geet stopped her protest and their lips were just to be touched to quench their thurst..Geet suddenly remembered something - ek minute.

Maan closed his eyes tightly and said in his mind-gayi bhains pani me..Now I m gone..jiska darr tha wahi hua.

But said to Geet-Geet ab kya hua..you are so much expert in ruining my romantic moments with my fiance..Pyar ki dushman banti ja rahi ho..

Geet-Maan..I offered that person the double of it's cost but he denied..how much you paid for it?

Maan-Kyun ? Are you going to pay for that to me?

Geet-Maan..kaisi baaten karte ho aap..bas I want to know..I want to know How much he cheated you for this?

Maan-Why he will cheat me?

Geet-Maan jaldi boliye...I will take the extra money back from him..he can not cheat us ..

Maan-kuchh khaas jyada nahin abs thoda sa..and he did not cheat me..I myself offered him the extra money

Geet-That only I want to know..HOW MUCH EXTRA YOU PAID ? she asked in a stern voice giving the extra weightage to her question.

Maan-Geet..leave it na

Geet-No I can't .. After all it's your hard earn money

Mann-wo bas..I paid only t..t.

Geet-why are you stuttering?. Theek se boliye

Maan hurriedly -Ten times only..

Geet eyes widened with horror-TEN TIMES and for you that is ONLY?..that means you paid 8 lacs? You know Anie's dress to doesn't cost this much..Maan how could you?..kya zaroorat thi? Did I say anything to you regarding it

And scared Maan shook his head in no..He was tongue tight seeing her angry

maan-ab jo ho gaya so ho gaya..

Geet-haan Haan..kyun nahin.you know ab to mujhe iss dress ko pahnne me bhi darr lagega...Paise kya ped par ugte hain?.and she sat on the chair with an angry face..

Maan came near after collecting all his courage and he bent down to the level of her ears and asked in an extra sugary voice-Gussa ho?

Geet got annoyed at the queston..He touched her shoulder from behind..but she snapped it..

Maan-Shadi se pahle hi pati ki pitaayi kar rahi ho.if some one sees it what will he think?.he wanted to lighten her mood..

But she did not change her position and did not say a word..

Maan-Geet..ab gussa chhodo. We are getting late..

But geet turned her face..she was so appy to see dress but was really feeling bad for what Maan did for her..After all it was hard earned money-Maan you know it's too much..this dress does not deserve this much cost..it was sheer wastage of money..

Maan-But my Geet deserves this dress and I could go to any extant to see you in this..Money is not more important for me than your happiness..

He kissed on er cheek from the side-tell me true?..Were not you happy to see that? and that only was what I wanted..

Geet's heart melted at that.. Though she was happy but spending ten times was shocking for her..

Her body loosened a bit and Maan sensed it

Maan holding her shoulders from the back-Geet ab jaldi se ready ho jaao warna hum Anine ke shadi me nahin seedhe apni shadi me hi pahunchenge..I don't mind but think about others. What will all think about us..ki hum dono sadi ke time yahaan room me kya kar rahe hain

And Geet finally smiled- Maan you are spoiling me..

Maan-and I love doing that...because I know my Geet very well.How much I try she will not get spoiled..chalo ab ready ho jaao and Geet stood to get ready..

Maan-arrey mera inaam to rah hi gaya

Geet with some attitude-Mallika E- Husn ka mood nahin hai abhi inaam dene ka..

Before Maan could say his phone rang phone rang-It was Adi who was calling him as Ram needed him..

Maan to geet-I will be back in few minutes.and went

Geet got ready and was sitting on the chair waiting for Maan..Soon maan came and was rooted at his place seeing Geet in that dress.

.she was just looking like some beautiful angel who just came out of the water..her beauty was so serene in that dress..geet looked at him and her cheeks filled soon with the color of shyness..and she lowered her gaze seeing him gazing without blinking his eyes..

Geet came near him-Maan..and Maan came out of his dreamland-haan..

Geet in a whispering sound-get ready soon..your clothes are on the bed ...saying this she tried to move but he held her wrist and she turned to him..Maan came close and looked at her with admiring looks...His heart was provoking him to kiss her hard seeing her angelic beauty but he resisted himself as she was ready to go and he did not want to spoil her makeup by kissing her..He pecked her forhead- Geet...You are really looking beautiful..No doubt your selection was the best for yourself..

And Geet gave him a sweet smile- it's you who are finding me beautiful..nothing special is there...ab jaaiye aur ready ho jaaiye

And Maan too got ready and they moved together towards the hall where the marriage was to be held..Geet gave a look to the sorrundings..she was impressed with the decore..Maan had not left any stone unturned to make his only sister's marriage a fairy tale..

The Hall was decorated with the theme of White color mixed with golden..

and stage too was looking so beautiful with the flower decoration..It was looking like the marriage of some princess..

Geet went to see Anie..Anie was sitting in front of the mirror and beauticians were doing their work..Pinki too was there..

Anie looked at geet and she too was surprised to see her dress-Bhabhi ye to wahi dress hai.

Pinki-Wahi nahin Anie waisi hi dress hai..maan sir took lot of pain for it..

Geet-You knew about it.?

Pinki-Ye le..obviously..otherwise how would Maan sir have got the design and your measurements..Roit and me both knew it..

Geet-And you did let him do that? Why you did not stop..

Pinki-he he..Rohit warned him saying that you would not like it but he was adamant on getting this dress only..Tumko Gussa nahin aaya?

Geet blushing- aaya tha..but Maan ne mana liya..

Anie-Oho bhabhi is blushing..kya baat hai?

Geet-Kuchh nahin..you are looking so beautiful Anie..

Anie -..lagna hi tha bhabhi..aap ne itne pyar se ye dress banaayi thi na..

Geet-Hmm...achha.. I m going now..(to beautician) How much time it will take?

Beauticialn-half an hour maam..

Geet-Good ..Do fast baraat ka time ho raha hai..Now Me and Maan will join them ..thodi der ke liye hum ladke wale hain ab..and she laughed saying this and all girls giggled at this

Maan and Geet joined Handas for the Barat as their daughter and Son In Law..

They did all the rituals which a sister and jiju do at the time of Baraat..Rahul sat on horse and te barat started to move with the music of band

Maan and Geet danced crazily

and enjoyed it a lot..

The baraat was roamimg in the same resort so it was in the surroundings only...In an hour they reached at the door of bride side..

Ram and Priya welcomed them with too much respect..

Maan and Geet tried to enter the hall but Ram and Priya stopped them there only..

Ram-Ruko..abhi tum ladke wale ho..out side this door all are from groom side so let us welcome you too..and all smiled at this..Ram had a logic..They were not only Bro and Sil of Anie but were sis and Bil of Rahul too,... and Maan and Geet felt embarrassed as Ram and Priya were doing their welcome like they welcomed other guests of groom side..

Rahul got a chance-See ,..You guys are really unique..I don't think anyone gets this golden chance to be welcomed by his own parents as a guest..

Maan and Geet glared at him and all laughed to hear that..

Rahul was welcomed by his would be In laws in to the hall with all the rituals..Priya took his aarthi and gave him some money as the shagun..but Rhul refused to take that and accepted a coin of one rupee as the token of shagun and all clapped at his goodness..

Maan now welcomed him as the brother of the bride..He brought him to the stage and made him settled on the luxurious sofa there..Amidst the mantra chanting ,the priest asked to bring the bride..Anie was brought by her brother and some cousins holding a heavy chunri above her head..She was coming with slow pace and Rahul's heart beat was beating at a fast pace to see his love as his bride..He stood to see er aproaching to the stage ..Anie came near the stage and Rahul helped her to come up by holding her hand..Rahul's friends hooted at this loudly

And they were ready to put varmala around the neck of each other but friends of Rahul did not allow him to wear that easily and they lifted him in their arms..and after two and three efforts they let it go as it was a ritual and was to be done decently ..but then the girls of bride side took revenge and they too did not allow Anie to accept the varmala..bur Rahul was not the man of patience and he moved a little and pulled her holding her waist towards him and as Anies was jerked towards him he instantly put the varmala around her neck..all mouths opened to see the courage of Rahul..But he did not look at any one..His eyes were only at Anie with a naughty smile and poor Anie she was so embarrassed of his act that she did not look at any one..and her face was flushed with shyness.

and then there was a long photo session of the relative and friends with bride and groom

Time was to complete the other rituals..The priest asked Ram and priya for kanyadaan and they with some heavy heart did her kanyadaan..after the kanyadaan priest asked Rahul to put the mangalsutra around the bride's neck and then to put vermillion on her forehead..Geet helped rahul and anie to do the rituals..

Then they were asked to get up for the sacred rounds..Geet tied the pink dupatta of Rahul with Anie's chunri and rounds started..

They were walking around the fire and all were showering flowers petal on them ..Geet was standing in front and Maan was behind him..he was deliberately throwing the petals on her too..Geet sensed that the petals were coming on her very frequently

..she turned and saw Maan showering them on her intentionally..

Geet shook her head seeing his craziness..He could see him more excited for their own marriage than her,,though initially it was the wish of her but he made it his own dream which was going to be true today..She looked at him and there was no irritation but was only love for her husband..who has done so much for her in this short time after their confession..Maan too looked at her with love in his eyes as saying I m always with you at every step of life...

He smiled to see her and she after giving him a smile again turned towards the bride and groom who were completing their last round..

Adi too was showering the petals on bride and groom and for one moment he looked other side while throwing the petals and all the petals fell on Pinki..Pinki turned and looked at him and poor Adi got scared again-I m sorry pinki ji..I was looking somewhere else so they fell by mistake,,I swear I did not do that intentionally and Pinki gave him a sweet smile..poor Adi got a heart attack seeing her smiling him even after he did a big blunder..

Anie and Rahul completed the last round and the priest declared Rahul and Anie as husband and wife and asked them to take the blessings of their elders..

Both took the blessings of Gautam and Sudha first..They both blessed them and sudha kissed her forehead..To day she got her daughter back in the form of Anie..

Then They bent in the feet of Ram and Priya..they both blessed them too but their eyes were moist with tears..today their daughter was going to her new house leaving her that house behind where she was born and grew up..

and now both were standing in front of Maan and Geet...Maan smiled looking at her younger sister who till yesterday was always ready with her new demand everyday and now she was going to settle in her new life..Maan hugged her and kissed her..then he took rahul too in his embrace..till now they were friends who stood with each other in hard time now they were tied in a relation..Geet too hugged Rahul and Anie..till now she was anie's elder sister in law and now Anie was her elder sister in law..

And some guest said to Geet-Geet you are going to share a very strange relation with anie..now you both are sils of each other..she is your bhabhi too now..

Geet-No way..I m not going to call her bhabhi..she is Anie only for me..kitna ajeeb lagega na ..main isko bhabhi bulaaun aur ye mujhe,,Not acceptable..she is my younger sister and would be always..No bhabi at all...

And all laughed at them..

After taking the lunch it was time for the most painful ritual.. it was time to be part away from the family..Anie hugged Ram and Priya.. Ram and Priya were having tears in their eyes..

All eyes were wet..Though she was not going far away from them but she was leaving them forever and would only come to them as guest...

Maan hugged her tight in her arms...and then wiped her eyes and shook is head saying no..Geet too hugged her and cried,,anie was her friend more than her sil..she would miss her at home back..Though she was going to her own parent's home but some moments are so special which make everyone emotional..

Ram and Priya joined their hand before Gautam and Sudha but they both stopped them holding their hands..and hugged eachother...

Sudha-Don't worry priya ji..we are not taking our DIL to our home we are taking our daughter back whom we gave you two years back...she is going to replace Geet in our home..she is our responsibility from today..and she wiped Priya's eyes though her own eyes were having water in them..

Anie looked at all with wet eyes before moving with rahul

Geet came near Priya and held her with shoulder..

Priya- Geet..you to go with your parents ...Your mother may need you..

Geet-Nahin maa...I will stay with you..you need me more than her ..I will go there in the evening at the time of Muh dikhaayi..

Sudha-She is right Priya ji..(to Geet)-Geet ...take care priya ji

And Geet nodded,,and priya hugged Geet shedding her tears and Geet hugged back her and petted her back to console her..

Maan made Rahul and Anie settled in a decorated car...He closed the door of the car..Anie looked out of the window for the last time at her parents..She saw Priya crying and Ram too was standing there with wet eyes..she again sobbed and Rahul held her hand and pressed her assuring er that all would be fine soon..she waved her hand for the last time

Driver started the car and Maan pushed the car to move it ahead..soon car caught it's pace and went away from their eyes..and Maan was standing alone in the center of the road looking at the retreating view of the car..

Sudha and Gautam too took the leave ..Ram hugged him one more time and Gautam tried to lighten the moment.-Mr. Khurana..Please don't feel sad. I m really feeling bad to take your daughter away.. I have an option ...I call them back and you keep your daughter with you.if you want... keep Rahul with you too..and if you are ready we all can shift to your house so no one will be sad...all will live like a family

And all standing there smiled at his talks

Sudha-ji aap bhi kaisi baaten karte hain..koi aisa kahta hai kya..

Gautam-arrey Sudha ji hum koi nahin hain..samdhi hain Mr. Khurana ke aur unko rote hue dekhna achchha nahin lag raha..

Finally Ram smiled-Thank u gautam ji..I know you are joking but kya karun I m not able to control.

.Gautam-It happens mr. khurana..after all it's not easy to give the part of our heart to someone else for ever,,betiyaan to dill ha tukda hoti hain .and he looked at Geet saying this and Geet in return smiled at her father..she was still holding Priya in her arms..

Ram nodded and guided them towards their car. Gautam and Sudha too sat in the car after hugging Maan and Geet..

Car went away and all returned in side after the guest of groom side left..

all the employees were sitting on a side..the atmosphere was heavy..Pinky and Rohit joined them too..and talked for some time

Maan made the payment on the resort reception for the marriage and then everyone packed their belongings and left from there to go back to home..
