I m so sorry for not replying your comments this time..if I had to reply then update could have taken few more days to come..I read each and every comment and want to thank all of you to comment at my last update..

@ lakshmi---I liked the new name of Haldi Ritual.....Haldoli..It was an apt name😆😆

Maan saw her standing there with her low eyes..he could notice the glow on her face..came near her and moved his palm on her cheeks..her skin was really very soft and she was smelling of roses..He hid his face in to her neck to inhale her aroma in his nostrils which was effecting on his heart..He cupped her face in his hand..Geet's lips were trembling ..Maan caressed them with his thumb,,Geet closed her eyes as his touch was awakening the desires in her..she held him tightly and Maan's heart lost the control and he took those soft and and pink petals in his dry ones to quench his thirst.. ..

After relishing them for few moments he left her as she was out of breath..he cupped her face again and kissed her softly on the lips again..

Maan-Geet..I m going to take bath till then you get ready..It's lunch time and we have to be there to attend the guests..

And Geet nodded ..Maan entered in to the washroom and Geet started to get ready...

Both got ready and went to the place where the lunch was being hosted..

Whole family was doing well in playing a perfect host..Handas were having a little problem as Gautam was alone to handle the guests but Maan was there for him whenever he needed..Geet too was trying her best to not to make Sudha feel alone..She gave Anie's responsibility to Pinki along with Anie's friend so that she could help Sudha and priya in looking after guests..

Guests relished the wonderful lunch..They were very happy and enjoying the wedding to the fullest at a beautiful venue...

After lunch all rested for some time and after the High Tea..It was the time for the Mehandi ritual..

Maan had ordered to the resort management to arrange sufficient no. of girls to apply mehandi on guests hands. There were so many guests.so there were little scarcity of the girls..

it was decided that young girls would have the mehandi on their hands first and then the elder ladies would do..so the young bunch was sitting in front of the menhandi girls...Sudha did the shagun of applying mehandi on Anie's palm..and then she asked the mahandi girl to apply a beautiful design on her hands...The best girl was applying mehandi on Anie's hands..Rahul's name was written in her both hands

She was quite fast and was applying mehandi in a perfect way..

Geet too was sitting in front of a girl..she was making a beautiful design on her palms..

She was done in some time and the girl started to apply the mehandi on someone else's palms..

Geet was sitting there looking at her mehandi and Maan was still in a fix for how to make this ritual complete for Geet and ..after thinking for sometime he sought a solution for that..

Pinki too was having the mehandi applied on her hands..after she was done she moved from there..she was feeling thirsty and wanted to have water..she went in the direction where the water was being served,,but to her bad luck it was not being served in glasses ..Sealed small water bottles were kept there and no one was there at that time whom she could ask for help..she looked helplessly as her mehandi was not completely dried and the attempt to open the bottle could ruin her mehandi..She looked here and there for someone for the help..and then she saw an open bottle in front of her eyes,,She looked at the source and found Adi standing there with scared look at his face..

Pinki looked at him anmd frowned to see him there

Adi said with little fear-I know you have told me not to come near you..I did not want but saw you looking for some help to get the water..so couldn't stop myself from coming to you..you drink it ..I m going from here..and I m again sorry if you are angry on me for coming to you..Saying this he gave the bottle in her hand and moved hurriedly from there as if she was going to beat him..Pinki looked at the bottle first and then at Adi who was running from there..A smile crept on her lips seeing him so scared of her.

Pinki-(ST) He is really nice..tu aiwai uss par gussa dikha rahi thi..Jhalli kahin ki.He is really cute.and shaking her head on her own thought she joined other girls..

Adi was standing far away from her and when for a moment their eyes met he was shocked to see that Pinki gave him a soft smile..

and he was so happy to see her like this that he again laughed his special laughter..

the guests who were standing with him looked at him with weird eyes and he again got scared and moved from there and Pinki rolled in the fit of laughter seeing him like a scared puppy..

Geet and Anie looked at her and asked the reason of her laughter but she avoided them by changing the talks

Priya was sitting at one side.. maan went and sat with her..he signaled Geet to come and she came near them and Maan asked Geet if she was done with her mehandi..

Geet-Yes..See it's beautiful..hai na she showed him her hands

and Maan while inspecting the design acted smartly and rubbed the design at one corner of the palm and Geet was shocked to see that-Maan ..what did you do? See you rubbed it ..What should I do now..I will have to search the girl who made this design on my hand..

Maan- Oh come on Geet..why do you need that girl..it's only some lines of the corner ..and he picked up a mehandi cone from the table and gave it to Priya-Even maa can do this..she will apply the cone on the lines of the design..(To Priya) hai na maa..Can you do this..it's just on the corner..

And Priya happily obliged them-Off course I will do that and she followed the lines of the designs and completed it with some edition...the place from where design was rubbed was looking little odd so she added Maan's name there to cover that mess

Geet and Maan looked at her with some confusion..Priya smiled and said- Now it will not look odd.rubbed portion was not looking perfect so I wrote it. and by doing this I m doing my work which I could not do on your marriage I m getting this opportunity now..so doing my work complete..Geet smiled and she looked at Maan who was sitting there with a grin on his face..As Geet looked at him he winked at her again as if saying that he did what he had said to her..and Priya did her job perfectly as if her heart heard her children's unsaid wish..

suddenly there was some noise..Maan Geet and Priya looked in to the direction of the noise..There was Rahul who was protesting on something with Sudha..all went there and looked what was going there..

Sudha to rahul-Rahul this is a ritual beta..

Rahul-Mamma what are you saying..ladke bhi koi mehandi lagaate hain kabhi?

Sudha-Rahul I m not saying to apply in full palm it's just a dot in the center of palm

Rahul-No way mamma..I m not going to apply it at any cost

Geet-mamma Does groom too apply mehandi on his palm?

Priya-Yes Geet..

Geet-Rahul..why are you saying no..It's a ritual na..and then she remembered something..She looked at Maan

Rahul-Geet,,are you crazy? ..yahaan sirf ladkiyon ne mehandi lagwaayi hai..ladkon ne kahaan lagaayi?

Geet-Is It? ok.done...If I make someone else ready to apply the mehnadi, Will you do that?

Rahul-Who will do it?

Geet-Maan..

And Maan was shocked to hear-What? .No way Geet..

Geet-Maan it's a ritual..see Mamma is saying that groom too applies mehandi on his palm..so please do it..we should not leave any ritual undone..Can't you do this small thing for Rahul and Anie? You know na that Rahul is an idiot but you are sensible enough...hai na..and she forcefully made him sit near Rahul.

Maan-Geet But Why me?

Geet-Whom should I choose other than you? After all you are family..

Rahul gave a smirk to Maan

Geet-Rahul chalo ab nakhre dikhana band karo aur mehandi lagwa lo..maa does this ritual is done by MIL too?

Priya-haan..

Geet-Ok so you come and put a dot on Rahul's palm

Rahul-main nahin lagwaaunga agar Baad me Maan ne mana kiya to?

Geet-let's do one thing dono saath me lagwa lo. Maa.. you put a dot on Rahul's palm and Mamma you put it at Maan's palm so that Rahul can be sure that we are not cheating him..

Maan was glaring her as if he would eat her up for all that but Geet was not looking at him..

So they were now sitting together and Priya put the dot of Mehandi on Rahul's palm and Sudha put a dot on Maan's palm..

Maan was sitting there with a pout on his face..he gave a burning look to Geet and Rahul because of them he was trapped..

and Rahul was grinning with naughty looks where as Geet was royally avoiding him..The guests were having the fun seeing Maan and Rahul in that state..

And the mehandi ritual was finally done ..Geet was feeling very good in her heart ..By doing that she did something for Maan so that he too could be the part of the rituals..she looked at Maan with meaningful eyes and Maan too looked at her and saw the different emotions in her eyes.he was still unaware of Geet's intention .He asked he by his eyes -What happened? And Geet shook her head in a no with a sweet smile..

Maan got up from there and came near Geet-Geet what was that? Why did you force me to put the mehnadi..

Geet-Maan you heard mamma saying that it was a ritual..so I too wanted you to do that ritual.I got achance and I did..and then it struck in Maan's mind that Geet made him do the ritual

He looked at Geet as if he was impressed with her.He wanted to say thanks to her but before he could open his mouth Geet said-don't even think to thank Maan..it is you who is doing so much for me..I cannot do so much for you but it was my little effort to feel you good..Are you not happy with that?

And Maan nodded his head accepting what she said..He held her hand in his and said-Very much happy Geet..and he tried to pull her to him but she snapped at his hand-Maan..don't..all are here and Maan grinned at this..

After the mehandi of youngsters was done it was time for the elder ladies..and all were excited for the mehandi..and with few hrs the mehandi was over and all were in their respective rooms..

Night

It was time for the sangeet...most of the girls and boys from both sides gave their performances and received a huge round of applaud from the audience...

Geet Maan and Rahul performed on the song-

(I don't want to make you bore by giving the performances step by step. You can imagine them performing on the song..)

The night was moving towards the end of the function but Geet announced the surprise of the evening-ladies and gentlemen..before I invite the bride and Groom for their first dance as a couple on some romantic song..here is the biggest surprise of the evening...the lovely performance by the parents of the bride and Groom..

At this announcement Ram and Gautam was feeling nervous where as Sudha and Priya was shocked-How could they perform without any rehearsals..

Maan and Rahul too were shocked at this announcement..

But Geet was smiling to see them all with different expressions..It was planned by her only..she knew that mothers would behave in that way only and it prepared the back ground of the performance...Geet pulled both mothers but they denied and moved back with some hegitaton,,they were slightly angry on their husband to hide that from them.. and then they heard a voice...both turned to see who was singing ..For their surprise it was Ram who was singing soon Gautam joined Ram too.. and both were singing the song..

And all were looking at both with open mouth..Sudha and priya were so surprised to see them singing..They did not know about this hidden talent of their husbands..Actually they were singing quite sweetly..Geet was having a smile on her face ..Maan looked at her with her raised eyebrow.. and she grinned to see him like that and he too smiled to see her shaking his head..

She put her head on his arm holding that tightly out of the excitement looking at both the couple..Love was depicting from their voice and actions even at that stage of age...Maan encircled her with his arm. And brought her little close..It was night and the lights were on the stage so there was no fear of anyone to see them like that..

The song ended and there was a loud sound of clapping and whistles in the air..and the loudest whistles were coming from Rahul and Geet at that performance

Now Ram and Gautam had to answers their wives about their performance.

Priya-when did you practice for that?

Gautam-Priya ji ask your laadli bahu who black mailed us for this..she forced us to do this..She threatened us saying that she would be announcing our names there even if we did not practice for it..So to save our reputation in front of all, we did this..

Sudha-But when did you practice for this?.

Ram-Sudhaji..ye hamara secret hai..There is a saying... where is the will there is the way..so we stole little time from our work to do this..

And Both gave Geet a glare-Geet was threatening us too much..to karna pada..

Geet-But I must say you both were fantastic..See your wives are so impressed with both of you..

And all laughed at this

Gautam-waise Mr. Khurana..kuchh bhi ho I enjoyed that a lot..

Ram-You are right Gautam ji..it was really wonderful..

And then they heard the announcement one of the Rahul's friend was tere to announce-So the last dance of the evening by the special people who are going to be one tomorrow morning on a very romantic song..May I call upon the bride and groom on the stage please..

Anie was looking nervous now..She knew that it would be going to happen but there was a huge difference between thinking and doing...To think it was so romantic but to do in front of so many people was very difficult

she said to Geet-Bhabhi I m scared..mujhe nahin jana..itne saare log hain..

Geet-Come on Anie it's your wedding..all are meant to be here..why are you scared?... Rahul hai na tumhaare saath..

and Rahul came near them and gave his hand to Anie..Anie looked at Rahul and then Geet and Geet encouraged her to go..Anie gave her hand to Rahul and he took her to the center..but she was looking nervous..Raul saw her and he signaled Maan to come with Geet so that Anie could feel little comfortable ..Actually he was nervous too..it was not easy to be the center attraction of all .That too for the first time as a couple

Geet was looking at Rahul and Anie with a smile and suddenly she saw Maan's hand ,..he was asking her to dance but she said-Maan..it's for bride and groom..

Maan wisphered-So what ? we too are bride and groom..though no one knows it.. but we are..she looked at him and then she looked where Anie and Rahul were standing..Rahul signaled her to come with Maan..

And she accepted..Maan took her to the place where Rahul and Anie were .and the song started with the music..It was a slow song-

Geet-Bas aise hi..Some time back I could never think that I would ever see this day in my life..aisa lag raha hai jaise ye sab ek sapna hai ..It will disappear if I open my eyes..

Maan-It will never happen Geet in this life..This is the dream which we are watching with our open eyes.so don't be scared ..It will never break..Have a trust on me..

And among all two people had started to look each other with some difference in their mind...they were Pinki and Adi..fear had flew away from Adi's face and he started to smile to see her and Pinki had started to like that smile now..may be a small love story had started...
