EARLIER THERE WERE RUMOURS THAT THE WEDDING CARD WILL BE GOLD-PLATED

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is busy preparing for his sister Arpita's wedding which is scheduled for November 18 in Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad.

While the actor is sending invites to his closest friends in the film fraternity and beyond, we came across a few shots of Arpita's wedding card.

The wedding card looks pretty and was sent across with sumptuous dates.

The details of the wedding functions are embossed on a gold sheet with multi-color borders.

There is however one particular leaf which has the event details listed on a 'gold' plaque against a white backdrop. Earlier there were rumours that the entire wedding card will be gold-plated.

However, Arpita had dismissed rumours on micro blogging site Twitter that her wedding card will not be gold plated. She tweeted:

New Delhi: Arpita Khan's wedding functions has kick started and while the main ceremonies of haldi and sangeet are yet to be done, we have got something exclusive.

As the news of marriage broke between Salman Khan's younger sister and her long time beau Ayush Sharma, the happy moments started forming down. Amid all the speculations regarding Arpita's wedding trousseau, the list of guests and every other frenzy included, the soon-to-be-bride recently visited her husband's house in Delhi.

While the Khan girl is still waiting to bid adieu to her family formally to grace her new home with husband Ayush, a ceremony that looked more like a grah pravesh happened at her arrival.

Though, this is something a bit unconventional, Arpita's visiting her in-laws' house for the first time before marriage could be one of the reasons behind such auspicious welcome.

Both Arpita and Ayush looked every inch delighted during the ceremony and the groom's family too looked more-than-happy as they welcomed Arpita in the house.

Miss Khan (as of now) is getting married to Ayush Sharma who happens to be an aspiring actor.

Both Ayush and Arpita are terribly in love with each other and have never felt shy to express it through social media too.

While Arpita appeared a perfect ready-to-be-bahu lady during the ceremony with her duppatta covering her head, love was speaking from Ayush's expressions as he remained constantly gazing at Arpita during the grah pravesh.

As Arpita moved in, the entire family went gaga over her arrival and clicked selfies with her. The blushy soon-to-be-bride even clicked sefies after enjoying lunch with the family.

Now, ceremonies and traditions are meant to bring happiness and when the couple is loaded with such great affection already, nothing else matters! Yeah?

Arpita Khan's wedding is the talk of the tinsel town these days. While there has been a lot of speculation on who will be seen attending Salman Khan's sister's grand wedding, a report published on pinkvilla.com lists out the confirmed guests. Shatrughan Sinha has confirmed his presence at the wedding, says the report. Katrina Kaif (with or without Ranbir Kapoor), Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, Karan Johar (without his mom, as she's recovering from surgery), Sajid Nadiadwala and family, David Dhawan, wife and sons Varun and Rohit Dhawan, Hema Malini and Dharmendra (with or without their two daughters and sons-in-law) are the guests confirmed for the function, the report further states. Chiranjeevi and son Ramcharan Teja from Hyderabad will also attend the wedding, and contrary to reports Shah Rukh Khan and the Bachchans have not confirmed their presence, the report concludes.

Salman Khan, who is going all out when it comes to celebrating his youngest sister Arpita Khan's wedding to Delhi-based fianc Aayush Sharma, recently extended an invitation to frenemy Shah Rukh Khan.

But, whether SRK would attend the wedding or not was the big question. At a recent Children's day celebration in Mumbai on Tuesday (November 11), Shah Rukh Khan was asked on his plans to attend the wedding. "Inshallah... She's like my sister. I have seen her from childhood... So, most certainly. There's no question about that," said the actor.

On being asked about the wedding, Shah Rukh Khan further added, "I do not know whether I have got the invite or not. Haven't gone home but Rishta aisa hai ki mujhe invite ki zaroorat nahin hai." (Our relationship is so deep that I don't need an invite).

The Khan family is barring no expense when it comes to seeing their youngest daughter tie the knot. The pre-wedding rituals will begin on November 16 and the main wedding ceremony will be held at Falaknuma Palace on November 18 in Hyderabad. The cost of the venue is said to be a crore per day and Salman's family is shelling out two crores on it alone.

A splendid wedding reception has been planned for November 21, which is said to host the country's crme de la crme, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bollywood personalities like Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Subhash Ghai and many others.

From down South, Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Suresh Babu are expected to attend the ceremony. Interestingly, the groom's side has invited Sonia Gandhi to the wedding along with Rahul Gandhi and Himachal Pradesh governor with the entire state cabinet as Aayush happens to be the grandson of former telecommunications minister Sukh Ram and younger son of Himachal Pradesh cabinet minister Anil Sharma.

B-Town is abuzz with the grand wedding of Arpita Khan with Ayush Sharma. A lot has been written whether Shah Rukh Khan will be invited to the wedding. At an event for Children's Day in Mumbai, Shah Rukh Khan said that he doesn't need an invite for the wedding of Salman's sister who ties the knot on November 18. "Inshaallah... She is like my sister. I have seen her from childhood. So most certainly, yeah. There's no question of not going. I don't know whether the invitation has come or not. I've just reached here. But we have a family relation and I don't need an invite for Arpita's wedding. As a child, Arpita has played in my arms. So 100 percent I will go," Shah Rukh Khan said.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Salman Khan's younger sister Arpita Khan who will wed fiance Aayush Sharma at the Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad on November 18, will return to Mumbai to throw a lavish reception on November 21. Though the wedding will take place in Hyderabad, Salman Khan's apartment complex in Bandra, Galaxy Apartments, has been lit up in celebration. The report quoted a source from the family saying, "The decorations were put up on Sunday and the process will continue till Tuesday. The lights will be on till the reception ends." The source added that the reception will be held at a Bandra five star and invitations have been sent to many Bollywood personalities.

The wedding invitation card has made its way to the internet. According to a report on indianexpress.com, the card is a gold-plated invitation with beautiful rose print, which is presented in a box along with leaflets for each day of the pre-wedding functions. The guests are treated to a special batch of cupcakes with the card, the report further states.

Putting rumours of a mutual animosity to rest, Salman Khan has reportedly invited King Khan to his sister Arpita's wedding. Salman, who is apparently going out of his way to ensure that his sister's wedding is as lavish as possible, has invited Bollywood biggies, politicians, sportsmen as well as entrepreneurs to be a part of wedding celebrations. A Mid-Day report says that Salman has invited SRK for the wedding reception on November 21. Quoting a source, the report adds that it was a thoughtful gesture on Salman's part to invite SRK for Arpita's wedding. Apart from SRK, Salman has also reportedly invited Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Deepika Padukone. He has also invited some big names from the South like Kamal Haasan, Vijay and Chiranjeevi for the wedding.
