sonalis acting is not convincing !!

i just dont know why i feel that sonalis acting is not convincing !! i feel that she is acting for the sake of acting.her acting cant touch me. and the musics also dont go with them.something is missing 😕 but still i like the serial very much.😃

I don't hold the same point of view as you, perhaps because some shows I have come across have the worst actors. However, everyone's preferences are different so you might find her acting not convincing while others may find it convincing. I've had it happen to me in the past too where main leads just didn't connect with me.

In the case of Sonali, I can only say that hopefully whatever element you find missing is improved and you can find her convincing 😊

..I m sorry but I disagree With you ,,she has been a brilliant actress so far infact the way ADHY is today totally Depends upon how Sonali n Apurva 's characteryeahVD shaped up . yes the others are important too but the Way ADHY has been built up n loved by many ,.it won't be possible without Sonali Portraying shobha so well

Yes everyone has their own opinion!
But I find Sonali's acting just PERFECT for the role she needs to play! 😊
As Shobha, She comes across as very real and natural, instead of Over The Top!

Infact, in today's epi, she just nailed it!
I like her dialogue delivery, her voice quality and voice modulation .and above all, her chemistry with Apoo (Vik) is very charming and magical!

So all in all, for me, I am convinced with her and her acting 😃

Sorry, but what rubbish.. sonali's acting is not convincing??? what convinced u? gopi's acting in saathiya or simar's in sasural simar ka? its a serial, u need to shoot every day also very fast unlike movie where a 2 hour film's shoot completes in 3 months. In serial u cannot expect great acting every day. Still sonali has done great job in almost all scenes.

I too agree with you. Sonali has done a stunning performance today.

She is perfect for Shobhas role. She has elegance, grace and the way she carries herself is delightful to watch.

Apoorva and she share a stunning chemistry which is just perfect. Their silence speaks for them.

People who share a room for 100 years may not be having such chemistry. They are awesome pair. In the beginning i had my doubts. But now i feel damn lucky to start watching this serial. Otherwise it would have been a loss.

Nice concept and nice lead pair with true acting skills.

I just cant imagine any other pair doing justice to this role after them.

For me, Sonali is the USP of this show

The way she's portraying the role, I feel this could have been me, or any of my friends. I find her very convincing.

Sonali is perfect in her character as Shobha.

Firstly you must understand that Shobha's character is someone who is highly educated, is very composed in her behaviour and mannerisms, elegant and very dignified/mature in the way she is shown to carry herself as a wife, mother, individual etc.

So when she breaks down and weeps her heart out, it is not loud or dramatic. But subtle and very very real. She does not bawl it out, but instead her cries are muffled.

Her reactions to any situation too are not dramatic but subtle. Like she she retorts back to her MIL. She responds back with sensible replies, but does not do the dramatic talk back kind of thing.

Agree there is no dhantede dhanteden...loud kind of BG score when showing such scenes.

I do understand that after seeing every other soap character getting overly dramatic and heavy BG scores playing..it kind of seems a little different here.

ADHY has been dealt with in a very polished and classy manner, is the way I see it.

i voiced my opinion.u dont have the right to use such language. everybodys choice is different .

TM! There have been instances where Shobha's emotions were not felt because it was not portrayed properly but that might be the editors fault too. But there have been some scenes where she has been good too, for example the prison scene where in her imagination she loses her cool and blast Samarth, or when she found the truth about her husband's betrayal!- I believe the leads both have their weaknesses which the other fulfills thus making it complete, if that makes any sense!

Oh wow one comment on this thread cracked me up, fan555 is claiming its a serial hence its understandable but then drags other shows and characters to satisfy a point! Thats hilarious!😆Anyways, to each their own, but very funny!😆😆
