Kudos to women power

Starplus shows have no hero. Atleast the top shows.The hero is just a prop.

EHT is one among them. There is one lead and there are scores of villains.

Women empowerment atleast in tv shows.

Durga is doing what Bachchan used to do during his angry young man phase. The only difference is she is not fighting goondas physically.

Sakshi is doing what amjad Khan used to do in films like Sholay.

Kudos to women power.

Disagree. The top rated show across all GECs have a solid male lead. The USP of DABH itself is Sooraj Rathi. The concept he is always between Bhabo and Sandhya has what made DABH what it is.

Anas Rashid is living the role of Sooraj Rathi and it is the most author backed role for a male lead in tellyworld.

And in EHT they could have equally made Dev an author backed role and give him at par footing with Durga as her partner which CVs didn't do.

But the protagonist is a female or females. The male lead simply has a supportive role. Go between.

No Sooraj was not go between. It is Sooraj who carries Sandhya to her destination that is her dream.Sandhya has given up on the dream many times. It was not at all a arm candy role but a role which was equally important.

See in movies male protoganists holds the limelight whereas the female protoganists on most occasion are arm candies.

Very few movies give both the male and female protoganists equal role. Same is the case with serials where female protognaists holds the lime light and male protoganist is arm candy.

But DABH is a show which has given equal importance to its male and female protagonist. Not only that in DABH actually male protagonist is the change agent , not the female protagonist. As a viewer who watches DABH I can vouch Sooraj Rathi is the soul of DABH. Without that character DABH wouldn't have reached where it is.

Agree shruthi. Behind every woman's success also, there is a man just the way behind every man's success. there is a woman.

Don't watch many shows but here Sakshi n Durga are defo The stars n to some extent rajnath is good ..bas
