Ankit Bathla is back on TV.
The charming actor, who went missing from the small screen, is set to join the cast of the show Ajab Gajab Ghar Jamai (Red Dot Productions) on Big Magic.
Ankit will be seen playing Krishna, Nani's (Himani Shivpuri) sister's grandson, settled in America.
As per the past story, Nani's sister was disowned by the family pertaining to differences over the idea of ghar jamai'.
Now, Krishna would decide to fly down to India to meet the family. Nani would be angered by his entry and tell him not to enter the house. This is when Chintu (Sumit Vats) will come as a saviour and give him inputs on the likes and dislikes of the family. He will also help Krishna on ways of making inroads into the family's heart.
We spoke to Ankit who said, "I am all geared for this show after a break from TV. The character is beautifully sketched and the story will also move from its otherwise comedy space to touch some emotional chords."
Ankit's entry would be aired from 10 November.
