Two TV actresses Deepika Singh (Diya Aur Baati Hum) and Shefali Sharma (Bani-Ishq Da Kalma) got married this year and they celebrated Karva Chauth recently. They tell us about their first Karva Chauth experience.

For the first time I kept a Karva Chauth for my husband Rohit Raj Goyal. I had seen my mother keeping it but I cant believe that I did it. After the wedding I have never worn such heavy dresses, I have not been asked to wear proper saris or dresses in sasural, finally I became conscious and wore all those heavy dresses. I took a holiday, and I have never kept a fast in my life, never lived without water, so told ma-in-law that I will drink water, can't live without water. I bought new saris for my saasu ma, we don't have a big function here, but I also did some shopping. Rohit also kept a fast for me.

Good to know her sasural ,though Goyals are strict Marwaris they do not ask her to be in saris.she was allowed water on Karvachauth. they are treating her like their daughter a nice understanding family.Wish they give her this freedom all the time 😊
Nice to know Rohit also Kept fast for her 😊 .. This man must be feeling happy having her and being accepted by her 😳 and being fast for her is a small thing before the blessings he got from god by being with her 😛 .
