A CAKE, A ROSE AND THEMSELVES

WOW, STUPENDOUS, EMOTIONAL, PULLING THE STRINGS OF MY HEART, ROMANTIC AND TEARFUL. A GREAT JOB BY THE CV'S, CREW AND AVINASH AND SHRENU, WHO SIMPLY MADE US CRY ALONG WITH THEM WHEN THEY HUGGED AND CRIED. I GOT ALL TEARY EYED WHEN I WATCHED IT AGAIN. GOSH, THESE TWO ARE FULL OF SURPRISES AND THANKS TO WASEEMJI AND HANEEFJI FOR GIVING US THESE HEARTFELT MOMENTS. 👏👏

After spending the past few days on tenterhooks, did Shlok forget it not about the anni, our worries were answered and what a fitting reply. Just a magical and heart stirring, emotional celebration of their first wedding anniversary. A special mention to the die hard ebpians who did not give up and had full faith in Dear Shlokie bear that he would do something special and unique for his Aastha as he wants her as his wife for 7 lifetimes.

Let me get the fluff out of the way before getting to the main course. Jo_Re came briefly and Ria is back, looks like. So there is going to be more trouble in Josid's life with her Ria getting married off and her in laws troubling her... Hope it is not Abhay the rat who is the mystery groom...

Varad is a true WAARIS OF NA and he is playing Sojal beautifully and she is happily falling in the trap as she is getting his attention and love(she thinks it is so) from him. So agrees to toe his line even if he is in the wrong for the few pats and hugs and kisses he might bestow upon her like a benevolent and kind husband. ha ha ha, Sojal beware, you are going to be hurt even more by siding and covering up for him. You are being turned into another Anjali and being skilfully manipulated. Well, two people are pulling your strings and you have no true sense of right or wrong anymore. ILU from Varad made me wanna puke...🤢 🤢So he has plans to drive a wedge between baba and Shlok using his influence in the media. 😡😡

Anjali tells the Godboles about her meeting with NA and thank god Godbole Sr has his wits about him. Tells her that a leopard can't change its spots so quickly and if he has truly changed then why didn't he come looking for her???? 👏 👏 👏Exactly my point and in all the others too. I like how the Cv's are throwing little tiny bones and satisfying our curiosity. Anjali seems to be convinced as whatever is happening right now is a fallout of Hot Daddy's behaviour. She is missing her kids and voila, ESP, AAStha's call comes and cute convo follows. Aastha complains to her ayi about her son and how he forgot their anni. Worry not, the group at the ashram all get a lovely chocolate cake and celebrate, wishing Ashlok the very best and success for their endeavours.

Now, gals, the moment we were waiting for. 10 minutes of pure unadulterated Ashlok scenes that was so warm and gooey and weepy. ⭐️ 👍🏼

Aastha pacing the tiny floor and waiting for akdu to come. when he finally shows up, she just pounces on him and fires her questions at him, why was he late, did he get a job, where is the money, what did he do with it and why he didn't answer his phone. Phew, it was enough to make a sane man want to run to the nearest exit or look for earplugs. Shlok barks at her saying that he never had the habit of keeping accounts and does not know how to save money and that he walked home. He gets annoyed and w/o sparing a glance at the balloons and the decorations in the matchbox room, he walks out in a huff. (or did he sneak in all of that in a sec, after all he is the kamina Shlok who is intelligent and shrewd).

AAstha is not to be left behind and chases after him to make amends. Shlok stops outside for a minute to see if she is following him and then with a look full of pride and naughtiness, takes off ebp. Aastha calling out to Shlok, in desperation and fear now as she is in a dark place, like a park and no sign of him. Suddenly the floor around her feet lights up and she is standing on flowers that are shaped into a heart with blue lights around it. She gets teary eyed and turns around slowly to see Shlok standing, who now throws open his arms to her, inviting her to come. Aastha does not need to be told twice and she runs into them and hugs him, and then she starts. She begins hitting him, crying in a choked voice, saying why he did this to her, playing a joke on her, making her feel afraid and desperate. Shlok has always played with her emotions and feelings and I think for a second, her heart stopped and she revisited 1st SR. Shlok laughs at her and I feel it was Avinash here, his smile was so wide. Shrenu was brilliant here, first rate in emotional scenes as always.⭐️ ⭐️

Shlok asks her to close her eyes and she does like a child at heart. He takes her to a table set with a chocolate cake(Avinash's favorite) and with candles lit. He holds her hands and then for the first time ever, THANKS HER. I WAS IN A PUDDLE...THANKS HER FOR COMING INTO HIS LIFE( You would be unbearable with your arrogance), THANKS HER FOR MARRYING HIM(imagine if she hadn't) THANKS HER FOR BEING HIS WIFE(can u imagine having Swati as your wife, NAHHH,can't even think about it) Oh wait it wasn't over yet. IF SHE IS THERE, THEN HE IS COMPLETE, WITHOUT HER HE IS NOTHING. AWW... ANOTHER ILU FROM SHLOK THIS TIME WITHOUT ANY PROMPTING FROM BIWI. IT WAS HEARTFELT AND GENUINE FROM HIM, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, TRULY. Aastha too returns the love. was crying along with Aastha here, so beautifully enacted by the both of them. A big hug and then Shlok teasingly asks her if she ever plans on cutting the cake or stand in his embrace all night long. We certainly don't mind but the cake...can't see it go to waste and looked so delicious too. Both of them cut the cake, feed each other a bite lovingly and wish each other and another HUG, BIG HUG. Shlok then playfuly smears some chocolate on her nose and when Aastha tries to return the favour, he holds her hand and then puts it on his nose, holding her hand. Telling move, he has fallen irrevocably in love with biwi ebp. Giving her the full rights as his WIFE. He licks the chocolate off and biwi wipes his nose with her pallu saying chee. (gals, another use for the sari.) Shlok looking at Aastha with pained eyes and saying that he doesn't have anything to give her and makes a promise that he will put the world at her feet soon. Aastha says she is more than happy with the cake and his gesture and that ALL SHE NEEDS, IS RIGHT THERE WITH HER, HIM, HER PATIDEV, HER AKDU, HER SOUL MATE AND HER LOVE. DESPITE HAVING NOTHING, SHE HAS EVERYTHING. SHLOK IS HER GREATEST TREASURE AND STRENGTH AND SHE DOES NOT NEED ANYTHING ELSE. These were such marvellous lines and filled with so much of love and emotion in them. Shlok is moved to tears on hearing this. (i am sure most of you would have been moist eyed here) and against a HUG. SHLOK CAN'T BEAR TO SEE AASTHA CRY AND ASKS HER TO MAKE A PROMISE THAT AFTER TODAY SHE WOULD NEVER CRY. He tenderly wipes her tears away and then KISSES HER EYES, ONE BY ONE AND THE FOREHEAD KISS TOO. I WAS DEAD OR ALMOST THERE.He hugs her close to him, closes his eyes and then, LOWERS HIS HANDS FROM HER SHOULDER AND HEAD TO HER WAIST AND BRINGS HER EVEN CLOSER TO HIM. TWO BODIES ONE SOUL, TRULY. SHLOK HAS AT LAST SURRENDERED TO BIWI COMPLETELY AND UNCONDITIONALLY. THE WALLS AROUND HIS HEART HAS CRUMBLED TOTALLY AND NOW THE LOVE IS SHINING FORTH LIKE A BEACON. HE LOOKED LIKE A HOMING PIGEON AND FOUND HIMSELF AT LAST IN HER. SHE IS HIS WAJOOD AND WITHOUT HER, CANNOT IMAGINE A LIFE. NEITHER CAN WE.

I think Shlok deliberately fobbed her off in the morning as he is a deeply private individual. He did not want the nosy parkers to know about their anni and spoil it for them.He was uncomfortable when the vamp saw them kiss after they moved in. It was a master stroke by him and kept biwi dangling too. He just loves to tease her. Looks like he took up a job as the money that Aastha gave him, a 500 rupee note could not have got him all that stuff. He ensured that they had complete privacy when they celebrated. Very thoughtful and well laid plans. Hats off to you Shlokie bear.⭐️ You certainly know how to spring a surprise on your wife.😃 A small token from you but a big gesture to your Aastha, your wife. After seeing the ways she supported him, unflinchingly and loyally, you have acknowledged that and let down your defenses. The opening of the arms meant that your heart's door is fully open, wide open to receive and give love.❤️ ❤️ He looked at her, really looked at her and was in awe of the fact that she left everything behind to be with him and willingly and happily undergoing the troubled times.
