I have been in such a situation in my life. In a way, it was a positive move on her part and I wish her luck. Whatever little hope I had that she may come back, immediately died. Now, I won't hesitate to move on with my life. And I don't mind going upto her and saying her 'hi' even if I find her with another man.

It all depends on the circumstances surrounding the break up. Had it been a mutual and pleasant parting, I would feel hurt and a bit uncomfortable after discovering her with her new beau so soon after our break up. I would have definitely felt bad if I were in love with her and was in a serious relationship. But then, I will also tell myself, there's no point in fretting about the past. Whether I will go and greet her or make an attempt to talk to her will depend on the situation.

A break-up doesn't happen overnight. It's due to a culmination of things not working out over a period of time. It will be really hard for me to see the girl I had loved for so long in the arms of another man. Despite the pain, I will take it in my stride. After all, whatever happens, happens for the best. I should be happy for her and would pray for her and say 'God bless her'. And I wouldn't mind helping her out in any way still.
