Am I the only person here who is concerned that they have yet to address the issue of Oliver having a child. I mean Oliver all about family this season right? It would be perfect time to weave that in. Oliver having a child was a pretty big reveal last year.

I think they might bring Oliver's child in the cross-over episode of Arrow and The Flash. Or maybe towards the end just when Oliver and Felicity will try to find their way back to each other.
But yeah I'm really curious to see how they bring in the 'daddy' twist and I'm pretty sure it's going to be in this season itself because I remember one of Stephen Amell's interview where he was saying that he had this brilliant idea related to the entry of Oliver's child and the writers incorporated it in the script or something.

You're not alone on this as I too wondered whatever happened to that child. Perhaps they might introduce the kid during the latter part of the show since there's so much going on with the current track of events

And I want more Malcolm Merlin scenes pls!! He's a season regular but no where to be seen all of a sudden

I remember him saying that too. He was really excited as he puts a lot into his character I think that his idea will be that good. I personally think "daddy twist" will put a lot of things for him in perspective for him.

My guess on the child's intro is Malcolm Merlyn is going to introduce him to Oliver. I mean what else does he have to do at this point than dig into Oliver's past. He can't lurk over Thea all the time.

I personally think that this kid will be good for Oliver. He so hell bent on being Arrow he is put everything aside. Oliver is convinced that he can only be one-Arrow or Oliver. A child will change that and he will have to work on Oliver. That child is a much needed push for Oliver.

I also think it will be after the mid season finale when they introduce Oliver's Child.
I totally understand your frustration about Malcolm not being in enough scenes but my guess is that he is the one who is going to introduce Oliver to his child.

The child I don't think will be having an impact yet but as per the comics the child is Conner he is a super hero in there works with the arrow but at a later stage...
I think it was just a reminder about it but not sure if they have a plan for it this season...
