Okay!
A cutie pie scene with Abhi introducing Pragya's shayri to the world! And he was thinking about her giving him these lyrics. He asks her if she is in truly love with someone, and she pauses short of saying it's him.

(Will Abhi start to think she loves Suresh?!).

Abhi's initial reaction to MMS was who sent it, what if Daadi sees it. And when he gets home, Draculoxi put it on display for all except Daadi/Daasis. Abhi does not say anything but seething with anger. When Aaliyah asks him to take her out of the house, he rather takes her to a room and confronts her.

What folllowed was an interesting scenes. He blames Pragya of being charactersless because she pretends to be a virtuous woman, keeps KC but actually does this behind everyone's back. She also charges him with seeing Tannu. But his argument is that Tannu was there before her and his loyalties are with Tannu! Twisted logic of Abhi's! PHEW.

When she asks him to look into her eyes, he does but does not want to believe her or his own heart. He tells her whenever he thinks she is good, she proves him wrong! If only you knew Abhi the traps TalliyahBhabhi have planted.

However, Abhi's biggest concern is his Daadi. He does not want her to get hurt because Daadi loves Pragya and trusts her.

Interesting that Abhi says, it does not matter to him personally whom she sleeps with, what she does. Let's see how that plays out when he meets Suresh!

Where was the Pragya begging part? I missed it?

P.S. Intense performance by S and S.

I love your optimism! I really do! But you know what the problem is? Indian Television has not progressed with the times. Sure, we see "modern" people, but the thought process is as ancient as ever. Somehow the female lead is always an abla naari that gets so caught and stuck in situations that are never her fault, but everyone blames her for it. Personally, as a woman, I'm completely against what's been happening in the show ever since Abhi "helped" her. In fact, forget that too, I'm so shocked at the fact that she doesn't work anymore! Real life, in my opinion is never that easy. We struggle in life to achieve a better life for ourselves and our families. The whole point of burning the midnight lamps are so that we can one day look back and say "Yes, I worked hard, and made something out of myself." But here what is happening? She began as a strong character, willing to say no to a marriage in front of the whole world because of dowry, but now where has all her self respect gone? Do you see what I mean? In her mind Abhi is good? Are you kidding me? He's not good. He is a self serving, selfish person. His world consists of 1 daadi, 1 sister, and himself. He didn't help Pragya out of the goodness of his heart, he helped her because her daadi was crying and practically begging him to help her family. He realized that he would fall in others eyes if he didn't help. His was of helping is letting the world know how good he is, but really, does that make him a good/helpful person? I think not.
And maybe this is because i've never been in love or whatever, but I cannot for the life of me understand what the heck she means by she's in love with him. He "hates" her. He is tagging along another woman! He himself doesn't know what he's doing. For him it's like 1 woman for my pleasure and the other for my daadi's happiness. GAH. Pragya's importance in his life is that of a rag doll, and the saddest part is that she's okay with it.
I remember one show: Saubaghyavati Bhava. Sriti Jha played an awesome role in that show. She stood up for her rights.
I like the chemistry between Sriti and Shabbir, and that's really the only reason I watch the show. I am a resigned viewer of this show now. Yet, I hope that your optimism comes through in the show as well!

Thank you! And i absolutely agree! Indian soaps never seem to prgress! Modern does not mean clothes it means thinking !

And oh yeah pragya and her job is a big issue to me as well thing is writer lose track because its a daily soap if it were season wise then they could deal with it better

Yeah! Abhi is a nice person though he just is very easily influenced by the wrong kind of people and he does not want to trust the right ones!!!!! -.-

EXACTLY! I hate that she is okay with it ! See she thought she is in love with him thats totally fine but after this accusation i too want her leave him!

AND DITTO! s and S are the main reasons i want the makers to do well with the show!!! And hopefully they can polish their stories !!! Cause s and s depict it brilliantly ! *fingerscrossed*

And hey this will get better once pragya proves them wrong ! Just a matter of one more episode lol

Your reviews always make me happy so thank you for that. And yes, Shabir and Sriti are absolutely fantastic. They always surprise me when it come to high intensity scenes. The emotions are depicted so well that I'm always left with my jaw open.
