They are just using it a fake reason to nominate Arya as they did with Gautam after the gaali incident. I don't think any of them really believe that it was wrong of it him to do that. Herd mentality all over again.

There are other HMs that need to be nominated for genuine reason.

P.S. I think Arya also needs to think up of better reasons for nominations. The Gautam one was embarrassingly lame,

He won't because he's the one who started this by making Arya apologize to Puneet. And also he knows it's a lost cause as all of them will deny it and defend themselves like Upen did when asked about the real reasons for his nominations last WKW.

We'll see how this week goes. If they stretch it then he may bring it up.

Incorrect. First, Gautum's issue lasted several weeks (and people still reference it). This issue occurred a week ago.

Also, Arya was not nominated because of this issue. Instead, he was nominated because he lied.

No no, I don't mean the severity of it or the victimizing bit of it. Gautam's was surely much more stretched out and still is. I only mean like before the nominations reason they're giving and the herd mentality of it. It looks like they're all standing up for something they don't really believe in just to appear righteous.

Also Arya was nominated for this issue, atleast that's what they said while shredding his picture. Ali could have given a valid reason that Arya used him by telling Puneet a private convo between them but instead he used this reason.

Hats to Puneet...he did the mistake/crime and escaped. Even though as others say Arya was not hurt but we all saw how aggressive Punz was.. He was almost the same with praneet who came as an adavocate of Arya. Whether its suggested by BB or Punz's brain...can't say but latter's chances are more. Since Punz came back...he had tried to instigate Arya and also kept on saying you are my child/younger to me...he deliberately tried to keep Arya closer to him so that his consistent discussion of the issue make Arya restless and make mistake...and Arya fell for the trap..

Arya should have completely avoided him, if he had felt bad ...but being quite week in voicing his opinion from front, he kept on going to Punz and then reacting as per Punz's wishes...he felt more cornered when others also started openly talking that somewhere he was at the mistake...

I'm pretty sure most nominated Arya because he lied about Diandra and Ali.

Arya did make a mistake, but I don't understand how "Bado ki izzat karo" applies in this situation.

I know Puneet is elder than the rest, but respect should be earned.
(Thats the difference between commanding respect and demanding respect.)

Also, if Arya would have kept quiet while everyone was saying "jhoota" 101 times, he would have still been blamed for not taking a stand.

Honestly, Puneet needs to go.

And yes, although the Gautam incident was more severe, this one is traveling on the same lines.

Except Arya is not being cornered, he is not getting blasted every 2 seconds, no one is nit picking his actions, no one is screaming National Television every two seconds. In Gautam's case, he cried and apologized but Arya's case is completly different. He is not in the same position Gautam was in. Yes, he was nominated by multiple people but Gautam suffered for several weeks. Arya still has a few friends to hep him out.
