Their friendship seems really genuine. Even though Upen nominated Arya today ,Arya seemed so chilled about it and said that he needs no explanation from Upen.I like their genuine friendship

I know its a game and all and at end of the day both Upen and Arya are also competitors but still amidst this game when there are some genuine emotions it feels nice to see it

i dont know about upen... but yeah arya has a good heart and he genuinely thinks upen as his friend...

Arya seems to genuinely like Upen.

But Upen definitely doesn't. He has never shown any signs that say so. Upen was fond of Soni and it was obvious. He also like Sush, you could see that. Now among remaining ones he likes Karishma and to an extent Pritam. Arya and Diandra don't mean much to him. He has no reasons to dislike them but he has no warmth towards them, He isn't using them but he has no emotions attached to them.

It's a one sided friendship.

But this happens even in real life. There are people who you are friends with because they like you so much but try as you might you don't feel the same for them.

but why do you guys think that upen doesn't like Arya?Has he said anything that indicates that

He generally hangs out with Arya only

Arya may not be BB material but he is genuinely a nice person

Agreed. They're quite loyal to each other and its obvious during the tasks. A bit like Pritam and Gautam.

I may not like Arya much - but I will be honest...the guy seems harmless and his friendship with Upen also seems genuine (from his side) However, I'm not so sure if Upen is on the same level. I will not equate him with Arya.

I know this is a game. But Upen should not have voted for Arya. His real motive might be to show that he isn't partial. So it might be all damage control. IDK.

I agree about Upen nominating Arya .Even I didn't like it not sure why Upen did it?

Friends make mistakes and even Arya did when he got personal with Puneet but still loyalty should be there. Nomination is a huge thing

But I loved Arya's reaction after the nomination. Such a genuine feeling of friendship and understanding

I think so too. Arya seems like a good guy. Initially even I thought that he shouldn't have come to BB as it isn't for him. But now I'm glad he's here as we all see this side of him and I am starting to become genuinely fond of him. He'll make some fans by his stint here for sure.

I didn't say Upen doesn't like Arya. Who wouldn't? I'm sure he's fond of him. I just said the nature and extent of feelings and respect for him are not as reciprocated by Upen. Like if Arya had to save one of these HMs from a sinking boat he's pick Upen but Upen would pick Karishma.
