Paakhi told Nandani on Friday "you don't have to live like this - unhappily. You have every right to seek /bring happiness in your life"

So if Nandani has a right to be happy why not Veer?

I can understand that she never wants to move on from Ansuman and cannot return Veer's feelings but then surely she needs to let him go so that he can find someone who can love and care for him. She cannot hold on to him / expect him to sacrifice his happiness for Aayan?

I don't recall Ansuman sacrificing his happiness for Aayan at any point so why should Veer?

Exactly . Paakhi's actions here are making her look selfish. How ever there is one thing I would like to be clear about.
After she insulted him in the KC episode and he went to his sister , he had planned that he was indeed going to leave her. I can't recall if he let her know that. Because if not ...I think she might be in for a shocking surprise when after Anshuman's project is over and he dose indeed pack his bags and walk out the door.
i would like to see that!!

He told her in the car on the way to Aayan's parents teachers meeting when she was venting at him about using Jiji's actions to extract revenge because he did not get his way!!!!
He said something like " I am here to fulfil my responsibilities. Once I have I will go from here. Then you go your way and let me go my way. Until then dont speak to me like this"

Thanks Payal... but that statement could be taken ambigously, since he considers AAyan his responsibility... may be she takes that to mean he will stick around until AAYan is 18 and able to take on the reins of the company...
Knowing pakkhi ...since she likes to measure her time in years ... Veer sticking around another 7-8 years to her is no big thing!

Thats true Vinnie

I am with you. I want him to taking steps for him and his family to leave. The problem is Paakhi will then "sacrifice" herself for Aayan and accept Veer which is not fair on him but as Paakhi holds Veer responsible for this whole mess she will no problem with telling him that.😲

I think part of the reason Paakhi was soo harsh with Veer on KC night especially after he said... I cannot help the fact that I love you, I never expected you to return my feelings, it does not matter whether you ever love me in this lifetime or not the fact remains I love you and you cannot stop me ...was because she was trying to salvage her conscious. She know its wrong for her to tie Veer to her and Aayan so used the harsh words to wound him knowing his anger and hurt would put a wall between them from behind which she can pretend that everything is fine.

Interestingly enough since the haven there has been no flashbacks not even during Diwali celebrations!!!!
