Why call Emon a kid?

I see a lot of posts refering to Emon as 'he is just a kid' he does not know what he is saying. There are a few contestants in the same age group as Emon.

Emon - 17 yrs

Ankita - 17 yrs

Richa - 17 yrs

Deepali - 18 yrs

Pooja - 18 yrs

Granted rest are a little older. But all these contestants in the 17-18 bracket are all 'bacche' no?. Infact 17 years old in this day and age are NOT bacche anymore. They know a lot.

Why only Emon is getting a break of being baccha? And other getting a lot of flack?

Acha. II website still says 17. Talent ki baat alag hain.

I see posts constantly discounting the way Emon behaves to being a 'baccha'. At 18 koyi bacha tho nahi hota.
