Why does the honeymoon not excite me?

Why is it that a honeymoon track does not excite me, that too of our lovely SagUn?

The CVs have messed up so much recently. A serial we loved because it was fun, fast, did not drag and was a romcom, is now dragging its feet over a regressive name-changing ritual, showing an overbearing and dominating Ammaji having her way through this obnoxious practice. So much for respect for women and their identity and respect for the privacy of a newly married couple, which probably the CVs do not respect because their bedroom has free entry with Amma and others barging in and out as they please

Then the fuss over a veg-non-veg clash which could have been shown beautifully, if you wanted to use it as the theme of your drama, but this has also been messed up showcasing caricatures and stereotypical behaviour to up the drama quotient.

Now, Ammaji interfering in their honeymoon plans, so what will happen, will the whole family escort them to their honeymoon or Satya drug them on the eve of their honeymoon or hide their tickets or whatever😔. Knowing how badly the CVs have messed up the recent tracks, somehow there is no enthusiasm in the Honeymoon track. Bunty has already stopped dreaming about Sagz, Sagz, poor girl, is caught between customs and losing her identity and the beautiful, romantic SagUn scenes are rare and lost in this quagmire of rituals and domestic drama.

Oh, and how can I forget, the stupid vow that Bunty made of not consummating his marriage till Ammaji condescends to approve of his wife whole-heartedly, so will they be boyfriend-girlfriend even during the honeymoon and we will be shown tourist clips of Mumbai, that is, if the honeymoon happens?

Do you all also feel the same or are excited about the honeymoon?

Of course, in this forum only and only for Prats and now like Kanwar too but really wish there was more rationale in the treatment of tracks! But still not put off😃

I am waiting for HM because then Bunty's promise to his mum will be tested. Let us see if they go alone or will be chaperoned by someone and I have a feeling that the whole family will go. 😆 We all know it happens with the extended family there so nothing new but want to see Sags reaction to all these.

As for Amma, she is not at all feeling guilty that just because of her the union of husband and wife is on hold. And to prolong this she will create a drama.

So yes I am enjoying this show.

chaperone? 😲 if Amma doesn't give her blessing prior to HM, than she is inhuman... don't care what custom/tradition you observe...

and if Bunty holds on to his promise... than he's not a man and should give wife back and take up a pacifier

so I'm more of a waiting with a raise eyebrow than being excited 😔
