Just saw the promos of Aina Dulhan Ka(Mirat-ul-Uroos) on Zindagi's YT channel. They r so cute and dreamy. Especially the OST-speaks my heart 😳 and perfect titles of videos by Zindagi too 👍🏼

It stars Amina Sheikh with Mikaal Zulfikar, and Mehwish Hayat with Ahsan Khan. They are all so good-looking and good actors-personally I feel Amina is awesome and I like all of them. Also I read that it has been written by Umera Ahmed and is the story of Akbari and Asgari's grandchildren. Pretty interesting and coz of the OSTs, the cast and Umera Ahmed-seems worth a watch.😃 If only I had Zindagi 😔 Thank god we have YT 😃

Well this is another family drama but from whatever I watched online(upto episode 25 randomly) it explores whether money should b spent lavishly(especially in marriage) just to show off or not in detail through the contrasting mindsets and lifestyles of two sisters whose husbands are also brothers. The elder sister is materialistic(but not evil, shrewd and clever may b) and younger values money and doesn't spend it extravagantly(she isn't the sacrificial lamb or anything and knows when she is wronged, also in one of the epis envies her elder sister having such an easy life though being so extravagant while she has been living a hard life despite all her careful spending. Don't know much about the male leads, but the elder one Hamaad(Mikaal married to Aiza(Amina)) seems to earn well, is his mother's favorite and after marriage does what wifey says. Haashim(Ahsan) is the second son(there is another brother-Zain and a sister) and he is reckless and irresponsible and is married to the younger sister Aima(Mehwish). Aima and Haashim have a love marriage and everyone questions what Aima sees in him-I don't know coz I havnt watched the initial epis. Haashim might b careless but he isn't bad and Ahsan makes him adorable. I really felt bad for Haashim when he had to make do with a overly simple(in my opinion) wedding while his brother had such a lavish one.He felt cheated and I felt sympathy for him. Aiza and Aima have a brother Farhan(played by Umer Naru(Hope I got it right)) who also played Durr-e-shahwar's sweet brother-in-law Saud 😃

Aiza has been brought up her grandmother Akbari(the character from the original Mirat-ul-Uroos) away from home, so she doesn't know the sufferings her parents had to go through along with Aima-hence the different values. The male leads are Asghari's grandsons. Asghari is Akbari's sensible and nice sister.Well in original Mirat-ul-uroos it was Akbari-Asghari and in this modern tale of Mirat-ul-Uroos it is Aiza-Aima-the sisters with contrasting personalities and values.

Whatever I watched of it, I enjoyed and wasn't bored, though I did feel at times that repeating not-spending much on marriage again with the brother Farhan unnecessary. But then I havnt watched it completely. Overall it is a pleasurable simple watch with family which may b will teach us a few things 😳

The music too is so beautiful no? Soothing n romantic. Also the lyrics are so apt for the characters-the first one for the high dreamer-the materialistic Aiza and the second one for Aima who values feelings and emotions more than riches 😊

I'll be watching for Mehwish .I loved her in #MQMD deeply but what am I reading Umera wrote it well I m gonna watch ALL FOR SURE now !

The other way round, I am not quite sure about the book, I know the fact that Mirat-ul-Uroos is sequel to Akbari Asghari, and the concept is somewhat similar.
