Balika Vadhu cvs have always come up with most screwed up ways to get a person remarried

For Anandi The adults bullied her for marriage because they were guilty of their misdeeds which damaged her life They wanted to rectify their misdeeds

For Jagya bullied him into marriage for Family's happiness The family won't get their heartiest peace and pleasure until they don't get to see his children playing in the house More than his happiness all were after him for their own personal selfish interests, their happiness

Now Gehna is marrying because she thinks Nandu needs a fatherly figure 😕

I agree Nandu has always looked up to Jagya even in his presence of his father and at this point of time he will be ideal fatherly figure for Nandu

I would have appreciated their steadfastness in explaining to DS strongly that re marraige in all cases is not the only solution. They are happy, Anandi is happy, Suguna is happy after their re marraiges. But that does not mean it stands true for each and every one.

If DS is adamant , J - G could have mended her stubbornness.

If Anandi was in their place and acted same as per them, I would have said same for Anandi too...and for any one.

But the writers do not think as we all think., so it did not happen. They made even J - G a sport to DS's idea.

Am' not blamimg J - G. Am' blaming the thought process of writers in making every one around dance to the tune of DS's thought process.

And as I already said in my post, I do not want to compare either Anandi's and Suguna's re marriage to this , and the family's support for same, as they are totally different situations.

Don't have much to add, agree with all views in the posts on previous pages.

Definitely the most disappointing track in BV in recent time. I had lots of hopes from Gehna's story when they started showing her handling responsibilities of business after Basant's death. Had not expected such a quick turnaround.

The thing which I found most unconvincing was Gehna's reason for denying the marriage - why she couldn't firmly say to Dadisa that she doesn't feel a need for a partner, that's why she doesn't want to marry. Her dialogues there were a big thumbs down there

Similarly her reasons for agreeing to marriage are lame. Don't find anything progressive with this track. Why don't CVs understand that what they are showing is not progressive story of widow remarriage.. There is no point in showing her doing the marriage against her will, just for the sake of giving a father figure for Nandu.

The likes of Dadisaa can only learn this lesson marriage is not solution of all problems if one of her planned marriage backfires She is lucky her plan worked in case of Sugna and Anandi who got loving partners like Shyam and Shiv In case of Jagya her plan was unsuccessful when she tried to get him married to Sanchi but he is lucky to get a loving partner like Ganga in his life so Dadisaa could not understand

Even I don't want Gehna to suffer but if this will make Dadisaa realize marriage is not solution of everything so be it

I personally don't understand why Gehna needs to remarry ? and when did Niranjan became fatherly figure to Nandu? All scenes are so forced and 360 degree turn

I could not connect to Nandu's dialogues when he was apologizing to Niranjan He said if you won't forgive me then who will teach me ?Really ? who used to teach you before Niranjan ?Wasn't it JaGan ? When Dadisaa came up to idea of going to school Nandu was doing his homework sitting with them

Nandu said who will play with me ? Didn't you use to play with Mannu ?before that Jagya but since Jagya is super busy now Mannu and Bhairavi both are your play mates ?

He said I will do fun with whom ? You used to do masti with everyone in house so ??

Seriously there is no connection of this story with what cvs themselves have shown before Not even one person is supporting this but cvs seem to be too keen to show this

@Uma i never meant you are blaming J and G what i said they tried to reason with her but she does not listen She is lucky her plan worked for Anandi and Sugna the examples she count They cannot mend her stubborness strictly because she is an elder They can only reason with her but she silence them by giving example of Anandi and Sugna What to do in such case ? She has nth time brought example of both even Ganga if they can get happy with remarriage then Gehna too deserves a chance Even she brought excuse of Basant's once upon a time wish ? JaGan dont have that explanation with them to make DS understand marriage is not the only solution of happiness here and comparing to it DS counts more examples where marriage has indeed brought happiness for people

First time she came up with marriage idea Jagya said to her it is too early to think about this she said no she brought excuse of Basant too wanted same once upon a time if Ganga Anandi and Sugna can get another chance and happy in their martial lives after marriage Gehna too deserves

When Ganga said to her Gehna is happy with Niranjan does not mean she will be happy with him in marriage too Dadisaa again bullied them

When Niranjan refused they asked her give him time and space to rethink on it but she bullied him behind their back Yes she did bully Niranjan When he brought gifts for Nandu she personally stopped him and made him emotional with saying to him you spend your all salary in making Nandu happy etc etc

I agree with Anusha DS has been so far been very lucky that all her remarriage plans worked except for Jagya with Sanchi but still he is lucky to find Ganga which credit DS gives to herself so over all he , Anandi and Sugna all three are very happy and satisfied in their lives after their remarriage The likes of DS are too stubborn to understand anything without experience

All I'am saying is if writers wanted to, they could have made J - G to try and make DS look at the issue with a different perspective.

If they have made DS bully every one around, it is the fault with writer's concept.

Thanks Esha for the post.

Agree with everything.

This track is most unconvincing one.

For once they could have shown that strong, determined Gehna back.

I thiught after joining business she gained that confidence and we will get to see that old Gehna who stood against DS's wishes. She can always treat Niranjan as a friend and help each other but why one has to get married to live happily.

Even when they started showing Nandu behaving maturely I thought this will be a good track , they are building up Nandu's character. He will be shown his mother's support . But in every alternate episode CVs are showing him making mistakes and doing the same thing.

Now they are hell bent to show the marriage.

The way Nandu was crying yesterday he never cried that way when Basant died.

I always thought he is searching a guide in Niranjan. To be a guide/teacher is way different to be a father.

But as per spoiler Nandu will agree for Gehna's sake and Gehna for Nandu' s sake.

So all is well as per DS's theory.

Woman cant live happily and cant handle responsibilities without marriage though she is the best example of that.

I agree with you. Nandu yearning for Niranjan looked so out of place. I wonder why Nandu is suddenly so fond of Niranjan and his company, when he has a very loving family and cousins with him with whom he was very happy all along.

Hindi serials run on too many assumptions. Going by the spoilers, Nandu sacrifices for Gehna and vice versa. Can't the mother-son duo communicate. Who takes life long decisions based on one emotional display of affection? And somehow characters of hindi serial never account for future. They look at present and hope that devi-ma sab bhala karegi.

Talking of marriages in BV:

Anandi was not ready: No one ever thought what if she failed to accept Shiv as her partner emotionally & physically, won't things fall apart? But all everyone cared for was - Bhago's kasam - what a convincing reason to marry!

Jagya - Saanchi: All the characters in both KB, BH, Anandi and Jagya knew what a misfit SaJa is, but nahi - Anandi ka sasra is more important that the interpersonal relationship of the two concerned - Just get married!

Gulli - Hardik: He had to marry her then and there, without thinking of his future, jobs, parents / dadi's wish / acceptance - kuch bhi ho, shaadi karlo bas!

And now Gehna - Niranjan: Life is all about sacrificing for your loved ones. It is not about securing your future or living a balanced and independent life

Two conclusions:

1) No matter what - get married - it is the solution to all problems

2) never communicate or be open about your thoughts - just assume or go by 'kasams'

I think this marriage is all set to happen. Will be happy if they engaged and break off sanely just before the marriage. Hope there is a take home message in the end of this GNN track

Nandu yearning for Niranjan's company is the most stupidest thing to show Is he such a lonely child 😲

Nandu has a loving mother , a loving elder brother , a loving Bhabhi , a loving Dadisaa , a younger sister ,two adorable nephews ? what makes him so obsessed with Niranjan?

i agree Nandu yearning for Niranjan's company is completely out of place When Jagya was not at home and Nandu used to be irritated and frustrated , miss him That made a lot of sense coz from childhood he is close to Jagya The bonding Nandu shares with Jagya he does not had even with Basant because from Basant Nandu used to be a lot scared Now what happened ? Is Jagya going away that Nandu is yearning and crying for a company of that man whom he just knows now and what extra special Niranjan did for Nandu that Nandu's family did not do ?😕Complete senseless Yesterday i wanted to scold Nandu for being so stubborn

and what is Dadisaa's plan she wants to make Niranjan Ghar Jamai? A man who cannot secure his own future and is surviving at mercies of others how he can secure future of his wife and kids ? Did DS think about it ?

The only improvement i see in this track is Dadisaa did not bully Gehna after she refused she did not put pressure on her the way she bullied Anandi for marriage after her refusal using Bhago or the way Anandi bullied Jagya when he refused Same thing JaGan and DS did not do with Gehna
