Robot director Shankar's next with Hrithik Roshan and Amitabh Bachchan
Robot, Shivaji, I, Anniyan, Nayak director Shankar is planning his next Bollywood film with Hrithik Roshan and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles top lining the cast
The script is being written by Honey Irani. When contacted Honey, who returned to script writing with Krrish 3 after a six-year hibernation, confirmed the news to Mumbai Mirror, saying, "I will be meeting Shankar on Thursday. He had asked me to write this film around six months ago and said that he will meet me only after he had locked the actors."
In September, there was news that Shankar is all set to make Robot 2. But Mirror has it this film is not a sequel to the 2010 Rajinikanth-Aishwarya hit.
When probed about the story of this film, Honey was understandably elusive, "It will be unfair of me to reveal details of the plot. Let Shankar make an official announcement. All I can tell you at this point is that I'm not writing Robot 2."
Mean while, his recent biggie I with Vikram is rumored to release on 25th December as of now.
Talking about her hiatus she said: "Things have changed drastically. These days I find it hard to understand what people want and what they don't."
Buzz is, Rajinikanth may do a cameo in the film. When contacted Hrithik said: "I would love to work with Shankar but I have no idea about this project."
