Hi Guys,
I wanted to make a post specifically to address this nuisance known as Virat. Here are a few things that stand out to me that fail every creative liberty scope possible.
Virat had a vendetta against Sangeeta from back in the day because Sangeeta knew about his dirty intentions and ruined his plans of harming another girl. She may or may not have slapped him ( i don't recall that part)
So Virat wanted to take revenge on Sangeeta. Ok accepted.
Virat hatched a plan to kills a few different birds with one stone.
According to his plan he made sure that Vikram doesn't reach the meeting point he had fixed with Sangeeta. How does he know that Vikram and Sangeeta are planning to elope is still a mystery.
Now - since Vikram failed to come on time Sangeeta decides to go back home. Upon going home she tells/her family assumes that Vikram did not show up thus "ditching" her. Family now decides to go after Vikram's family and kills his parents and sister. Ok Flaw in logic here - Sangeeta's family was upset that she was in love and had found her partner on her own - conservative, traditional, small towns don't approve of such arrangements - that part I get - what I don't get is wouldn't the family be mad at Sangeeta for attempting to elope? It seemed they didn't approve of her relationship thus were constantly butting heads - in that situation I'd imagine they would want to punish Sangeeta (technically if I recall correctly they had already locked Sangeeta in a room when she and Vikram made the plan to elope that night) so I'd imagine the family would be more mad that she broke out of the house and went to elope - thus bringing further shame on the family.
Instead family decides to go after Vikram's family - flaw in logic again - what is the purpose of that? How is that going to help the situation - if anything they should be after Vikram not his family - what have they done!?
Either way Vikram's family is killed by Sangeeta's family now when Vikram comes to confront Sangeeta she accepts blame and says she sent her family after his family since he didn't show up on time - that's a pretty hefty punishment for being late. She does this because her family blackmails her saying she must accept blame or her mother dies. What logic is this?
Going back to Virat - if his intent was to delay Vikram (which he did - how he did has not been disclosed) so that Sangeeta would feel ditched/betrayed/humiliated - all of which eventually happened - not by Vikram but by circumstances in general - wouldn't that be the end of his vendetta? Technically he achieved what he set out to do.
The family killings just seemed to be icing on the cake.
Virat not wanting anyone to find out that he was behind delaying Vikram and informing Sangeeta's family that she escaped to elope - ok fine he doesn't want Vikram and Sangeeta to know cause then he could be exposed and sent to jail. Even if they do find out at this point - Vikram and Sangeeta have both moved on in life - they can't bring back the dead nor will they be together at this stage of life - Virat will be in trouble and that's about it.
What I don't get is - Virat wants to protect his secret thus doesn't want Avni and Raj to be together. They already know that Vikram and Sangeeta loved each other but due to misunderstandings did not get together. No one was able to figure out that there was someone else involved the nurse lady and Avni's mami suspect that someone was behind it but its nothing more than speculation.
I don't get what the big deal is to Virat that he doesn't want Raj and Avni together. In either case even if the 2 families get back to normal - he wouldn't be suspected. As for confessing to Abhaas that Virat was behind everything - point of that? Killing Abhas to blame Raj and drive Raj and Avni apart - again I don't see the logic/point there.
Either way Virat needs to be killed off or exposed - it's dragging way too much and is obnoxious.
