Talking to Hindustan Times, Khan said she was more interested in author back roles oppose to commercial offerings. "Yes, I have been doing only commercially viable films for some time now, maybe because I wanted a break. But I know that many people want to see me in performance-oriented roles, and I am now looking forward to doing them."
Khan also added that she was impressed with the "realistic" approach to cinema, which was being undertaken by young filmmakers. She said, "I am interested in working with new directors, and look forward to doing something that I have not done in the past. However, I will only choose films that suit my personality. I am not keen to drastically change my career graph. I think I have done enough to prove my potential."
Khan will begin working on her next release Bajrangi Bhaijaan' with Salman Khan.
