The birthday tangle
Pati, Patni aur woh!
With so many TV channels and even more TV actors on Tuesday night at Shatranj in Bandra, Rakshanda Khan's birthday celebration was not without its glamour factor. But despite being one of those starry nights, conspicuous by her absence was Rakshanda's buddy Mona Singh. On the whole, though, it seemed like a couples' night out as lovebirds made the most of a night on the town. (Read: Shweta Kawatra and Manav Gohil; Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal, among others)
But the jodi we really missed was the lovey-dovey Gauri Pradhan and Hiten Tejwani, as the latter didn't turn up for the party. That didn't stop the lovely lass from having a good time as she caught up with few of her gal pals and let down her hair. Shilpa Saklani was seen shielding husband Apoorva Agnihotri from some talk she didn't want him to hear and Aftaab Shivdasani walked in to wish the birthday girl (where's Yana, we wonder!). Also seen at the do were Vikas Bhalla, Teejay Siddhu, Karishma Tanna, Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi, Delnaz and Rajiv Paul, Chetan Hansraj, Shraddha Nigam, and Pooja Ghai Rawal. Whew!
