well try the japanese(love in tokyo, this is my fav) and taiwanese versions they're supposed to be better. It's not easy to like because the main lead at first seems clingy and desperate ,but later you'll grow to love the character.

It's sweet and there's less drama involved. They have imperfect characters which is what captivated me

My fav version is definitely the Taiwanese ISWAK. Ariel Lin and Joe Cheng had some mad chemistry man ☺️. I tried the Japanese version and I guess that was ok but coz I already watched ISWAK I wasn't that interested tbh.

The Korean one is by far the worst version! Kim Hyun Joong can't act for shit! 🤢 There was zero chemistry between the main guy and girl. He was far too robotic. The girl was so cute in the Korean version though. She was probably the least cringe worthy heroine in all the versions. I remember Xiang Qin made me cringe far too much 😆

I loved the Japanese one the best! I found it so cute, I havent watched the TW version yet but Ariel Lin seems like a good actress since I watched Love Contract.

Well she was desperate and she knew it.She herself wished that she was not like that. She wished that she had another dream apart from the guy. However she was not able to get over him.It shows how helpless we are ,when we are in love
Also I think that's what made the show so different and special. Plus if she was not so desperate they may not have gotten together.Which would be sad...for him,cuz he's the one who needed her in the end.

P.S -The korean version was the first I watched so it'll always have a special place in my heart, but in comparison it is the worst.

The Taiwanese version had the best male lead in my opinion as he was totally romantic in season 2.

The male lead in the Japanese version is the most similar to the anime and manga.

My fav female lead is the one in Love in tokyo.Something about her is extremely lovable
