Parineeti-Rani Too much in common!

It is well-known in the corridors of Yash Raj that Parineeti Chopra is Rani Mukerji's favourite and that Rani sees a semblance of her own spunky spirit in Parineeti. So it comes as no surprise to know that like Rani after Saathiya, Parineeti is taking a break for a while after Kill Dil.

By a strange co-incidence both Saathiya and Kill Dil were directed by Shaad Ali. Just before the release of Saathiya Rani had confessed that she wanted to hold all her further assignments until she saw audiences' reaction to Shaad's film.

Parineeti sounds exactly like Rani did. "After Kill Dil releases I will take a break. I won't be seen on screen for maybe the next nine-ten months. I may sign something soon. But I first want to see the audiences' reaction to my performance in Kill Dil before deciding on what kind of a film to do next," says Pari.

I think I read somewhere that Rani is the reason that Parineeti is an actress. Parineeta was part of Rani's team and Rani was the one who urged her to take a shot in the industry, if I'm not mistaken.

I guess this is an example of bad journalism. Trying to make a story out of two people's identical thought process or decision which happened about what? ... Ten years apart?

But on a slightly different note, didn't Shad Ali also direct Bunty Aur Bubli? How long after Saathia was that?

This is not true.

Parineeti was only Rani's manager for one day due to her actual manager being ill or away or something. Rani did mention to her tha she should be an actress but she laughed it off.

It was Manish who held a secret audition and selected her for the role, Rani has nothing to do with it.

Actually Rani spoke to her that day and encouraged her to become an actress but Pari kinda refused.

Yeah that's what I said but a certain member here was trying to credit Rani for making Pari an actress which is completely untrue, she had nothing to do with her actually becoming an actress she was not involved in the process in any way.
