Aloha all. So, as predicted, there are a gazillion fans (including myself) who're lost in MaNan land. I'm talking from there, the internet connection is pretty good here!

I've been wanting to do this for quite some time, and so here I am, finally, making the most of the beautiful moment we had the fortune of finally witnessing today. I'm here, to analyse the music used on the show. And maybe hope to analyse today's episode slightly! So, voila!
'Tere sang beete harr lamhe pe, humko naaz hai,
Tere sang jo naa beete us pe, aitraaz hai,
Iss kadar hum dono ka milna, ek raaz hai'

Do you know that the music chosen for this show bowls me over every single time? Music is something that brings out the best and worst in people, and I truly believe that. Every time one listens to a music piece - a song or a little chorus, a memory is evoked. The lyrics bring up some emotion within us and we're left wondering. How do we have so much hope when we're feeling low? How do we feel so much anger when we were happy a second ago? And how is there so much power in one simple song?

Today's chosen track had the power and impact of taking the magic of the MaNan moment to a whole new level. He ends up chasing her, to a garden that is so beautifully lighted that the two of them just feel lost for a couple of seconds - admiring. I guess what I loved most about today's episode is the use of the lights. I loved how the whole garden was lit up, making darkness fade away.

Manik is someone who adores the light, and simultaneously is afraid of the dark. He loves the stars, the fire that they emit, blanketing the whole night sky, giving hope that there shall always be something that shines, no matter what. Nandini believes in light. Light is her strength, 'light' is something that she's always held within her, no matter what the circumstances. Manik needs the light, and who better than Nandini to provide it for him, and only him?

The way he so vulnerably asks her to always shine for him, is something that he never thought he'd ask of a person. How far has he come from the thought embedded in his head that all relationships are 'give and take'? How incredibly gentle he's become from the time that he told her that he's 'always going to be evil?' I don't think that he's ever had someone who has prayed for him before - hell, even he may not have prayed, for himself or anyone else. That's what makes it so special - that he needs her in his life. He needs to be always present in her prayers, he needs her to shine for him and he needs her to trust him, always'. That last request nearly killed me! Trust is something that is so important to the both of them, and the way she has been surprising him with the sheer intensity and amount of light she has within her, it's truly commendable.

Manik is someone who isn't used to being emotional - except for the times when he's with his friends and Dhruv. Even then, he's more of a physical being (yes, stop the gutter minds please? Trying to go somewhere serious with this). Yeah, so he rarely ever talks about how he feels and when he does, with Nandini, he fumbles, he stutters, he doesn't know what to say, but eventually DOES end up conveying what he wants to. However, today there were NO hesitations, no fumbling and definitely no stuttering. He was clear, sincere and gentle and for that I LOVE the creatives, and dialogue writers and just the entire crew in general xD

What got to me was the fact that he took a step back after having kissed her forehead tenderly (HOW FREAKIN' AMAZING WAS THAT MOMENT!?!?!), asking for her permission to go further - this is a guy who hasn't thought TWICE before grabbing hold of her and giving her a piece of his mind. This is a guy who is so gentle that is surprises the hell out of everyone. Despite her having poured her heart out minutes later, promising to shine for him and trust him always, her leaning upwards, closing the gap ever so slightly is all the confirmation that he needs and he gently places his lips on hers. (yes, I was already in MaNan land - I TOLD YOU the internet is good here - plus you can still type if you're melted in a puddle of goop and mush and all things cutesy)

Zehnaseeb means good luck, and as soon as I hear the words of the song softly playing as I witness a wonderful moment, I am transported back to the time when he asked her whether she was his 'lucky charm'. I'm taken back to the moment where he asks her to shine for him - because he can't believe that someone who is so full of joy and life and light as she is, would ever be so close to him - in a stolen moment, a brief interlude that will forever stay in their memories as one of the most cherished moments.

The song reminds me of the times Manik has looked for Nandini even when he wasn't supposed to, the moments when he's at his most vulnerable and he craves for her touch, her care and her presence. All the moments that have culminated for the inception of the wonderfulness that was the night and Manik couldn't be happier. The lyrics guide the moment further as he looks into her eyes as he releases her softly, saying that it's in her eyes that he'd find all the happiness and light that he'd ever need. (teri ankhiyon ke sheher mein yaara sab intezaam hai)

The two of them don't know what it is that has led to this moment - the truth in Nandini's fireflies, or the fact that they haven't felt like this ever before - or the the unknown and beautiful feelings that they have for one another. After all, doesn't it seem like yesterday when Manik was saying that he'd much rather take her punch rather than her kiss? Or when Nandini was feverishly wiping her lips because she accidentally landed on top of him resulting in their lips having met?

Eeven though in their minds, jo bhi hua, hua ajeeb, they know that the inexplicable beauty, charm and precious nature of this very night will stay in their hearts for a lifetime. There would be simply one thought running in their minds as Nandini manages to slip away from Manik's arms, both promising a sleepless night...

...tujhe chahoon, betahasha, zehnaseeb.

SONG. You know I love it. I know you love it. AND AB MaNan pe THIS SOUNDED SO PERFECT!

AAAH This. As I said she is the Music to his soul re.

Thats the kind of perfect setting that makes you want to pour your heart out. I Loved how both of them thought the set was their idea.

Exactly. He is no longer afraid to face the dark with she shining by her side. And that can imply to his mentoning that with her he feels being good shedding off his dark monstrous exterior

THAT WAS THE PART THAT I CRY. EACH TIME HE FUMBLES AND STAMMERS I AM LIKE. AAAH. THIS BOY <3

For me FOREHEAD KISS WAS the MOST important part ever! Cause consider it to be the epitome and symbol of true love/.

Res.
Before you don't recognize me and my mood goes off, I'll tell you myself, I am Aditi

*Runs off*

BTW. Do read the post I update just abhi 😛

Unreserve.

Exactly my point. Music is something I relate to more than dance or any other form of performing arts.
The power music has over my mood is inexplicable. No matter how happy I am feeling, a sad song with memories does make my heart churn when I still have to smile. No matter how low I am, a mood lifting positive vibe song does makes that small of a smile come up. When a writer block occur, it is a song that guides us.

You know, their connection of light is so deep. Just like their connection of Music. She is the lost soul to his song, she is his light in darkness. That is so symbolic to their relation. Manik clings on to light, he wants to hold it and never let go of it. Darkness is a cold hollow for him, just like he himself is. Hollow, without the proper nurturing. He needs love, care, light to fill it and Nandini is eactly bringing that. Why would he leave his only source of light? No, he won't. He can't. He is way too much scared of darkness to leave light.

Bingo. You hit the bulls eye girl. Yes, he has come so far in terms of being emotional, letting the human in him control his thoughts. I can see the influence of Nyonika leaving him bits by bits. The fake stature, arrogance, beliefs, everything is leaving and making way for something very genuine, very endearing, heart touching. He never believed in prayers, probably doesn't do even now but he believes in her belief. That is the light she showed to him. He wants to belief in her belief, he wants to know if that is how she gets the light she carries. He wants to know everything about her and then treasure her.

Yeah, so he rarely ever talks about how he feels and when he does, with Nandini, he fumbles, he stutters, he doesn't know what to say, but eventually DOES end up conveying what he wants to. However, today there were NO hesitations, no fumbling and definitely no stuttering. He was clear, sincere and gentle

His vulnerability is something he has always hidden behind his masks to not let people get hold of it and in turn make him weak. He has always been afraid of his weakness for if he turns weak then so will Fab5. He was the responsible one, the one who had all their backs. With her, he knows he doesn't needs to wear any of his masks for she has seen beyond those masks already. And now, he stutters, hiccups, hesitate for he is not used to lay himself bare to anyone. He doesn't know if that is the right thing to do on his part, to let her access his vulnerability more strongly. With time, his hesitation drew away paving way for firm belief that she is the right person, she is the one that he needs to share his vulnerability with, she is the one who won't judge him as someone weak and ultimately she is the one who'll take him out the mess he made himself turn to.

this is a guy who hasn't thought TWICE before grabbing hold of her and giving her a piece of his mind. This is a guy who is so gentle that is surprises the hell out of everyone. Despite her having poured her heart out minutes later, promising to shine for him and trust him always, her leaning upwards, closing the gap ever so slightly is all the confirmation that he needs and he gently places his lips on hers.

Haina? His journey of shedding all of his masks, all his inhibition is so soothing. His is no more controlled by the Monster Norms when he is with her rather it's his inner voice that guides him when she is around. Before, he didn't gave a shit to what she thought but now, her acceptance matters to him a lot. Her affirmation to his steps is what he needs now. He needs to know if she thinks he is doing right or not. He needs to make sure that he doesn't fall down in her eyes with something stupid that he does.

Raeee 🤗

The whole post was soo amazing. You be like this always and keep on making sch awesome posts regularly.

P.S. I'd rather have your review over my post too 🤣
