Dhanush and Alia to pair up for Mani Ratnam's next

Even as Dhanush is waiting for the release of Shamitabh, the Balki directed movie, which features Amitabh Bachchan as his co-star, we heard he has been signed by Mani Ratnam to play the lead in his next Hindi venture. For the actor who made his Hindi film debut in Aanand Rai's Raanjhanaa last year, this will be his third Hindi film, while Ratnam will be making a Hindi movie after four years. Ratnam's last outing was Raavan with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Govinda. The buzz is that Alia Bhatt is also likely to be a part of his next film.
