Friday Funda | Games People Play
Sports is good for health. Both physical and mental well being can be improved with games one can indulge in. There is this ad tag line... Tann ki shakti... Mann ki shakti... now that could be true for all the nutrients that this particular brand of drink provides however, certain games makes the heart healthy and no we are again not talking about a certain oil which claims to know... Teri dil ki baat mein jaanu...
Childish or otherwise, feel good factor often makes the heart feel healthy, be healthy. Dreams or shall we say day dreams can make one feel good. It is an escapism that creates a make believe world where everything is as one wants it to be. And perhaps once a person feels good, one ventures out and does good as well.
So goes for the feeling of love. It is perhaps the one thing that should make one feel good, but often one is assailed with doubts, surrounded by insecurity and questions that takes us around in circles. While the feeling of love is something one wants to cherish, one wants reassurance and affirmation of what one feels is right. And so we indulge in love games. Now, now, don't go taxing your brains with the other types. We are not talking about those types of love games and we are not giving a funda about that, at least not in this post.
We are talking about games like MASH, FLAMES, Push The Button and Cootie catcher are a few that one has played in childhood which help predict what will happen in one's so far non-existent or at the plate in striking position love life.
Have you indulged in these? Are these games something that gives one only a few hours of day dreaming possibilities or is there some grain of truth in it?
Let's talk.
