Adi was uncomfortable being called a hero by everyone in Ishu's and his own family while he and his father knew who the real hero was. He felt a tremendous sense of guilt at misjudging Ishita and being rude to her.

Adi preferred to go over to Mihir's home with Mihika and leave for school. Mihika realized the kids was missing his mother and agreed to take him with her while Mihir stayed back with Raman till it would be time to get Ishu back home in a few hours.

"Don't worry Raman Adi will be fine..i briefed Mi..."

" I was talking of you" he kissed her back as he eased her blouse off.

"Admit what?" She put a little tease in her own voice, hoping she drove him crazy as he drove her.

Ishita remembered reading that while she still lay smiling in her husband's embrace wondering if she could ever hear that kind of stuff from her husband, not that they needed to go out they were married after all; their's was a reverse love story. Raman had commitments, baggage from the past. She too had a career and baggage form the past. Was 29 late for romance. "Hell no!" many people started lives then especially doctors who had a PhD. in Medicine. She had work experience that she never would have if she had not paid the kind of attention she had done to her career. What she liked best right now was where she was right now, in her husband's arms breathing into his throat and his fingers rubbing her back gently. Her referring to Adi brought back his thoughts to Adi. He thanked his stars for Ishita as he enjoyed her lips on his throat. Smiled and mouthed a thank you Ishita for the 100^th time since she had woken up. He sighed contently as they prepared to get off the bed and check on Ruhi and get on with the day, when his phone came alive. " Papa I would like to be home when the Police come to talk to her, we may be able to explain more.." whispered Adi to Raman. Raman's heart swelled with happiness and relief that his son was reaching out. He put his hand out and grabbed Ishita's waist as he reached her from behind, at the kitchen while he was still discussing the logistics. Raman beamed a bright smile at Ishita his hand still around her waist as she was stirring a pot of oatmeal for the family, rested his chin on her shoulder and said " Ishita Adi wants to be home with us when the police come here this morning to meet you. He wants to go over to school with Ruhi ... and he called to tell me that" he smiled tearfully. " sacchi puttar??" chimed in mummyji. "haan ma" he said put his free hand around his mother's waist, leaned over and kissed Ishita's cheek winked at her and said Waise Ishita tum moti nahi ho!' He skipped like a teenager to Ruhi's room tickled her awake, carried her over to the washroom on his back looked at his mother and Ishita , " he said home Ishita" still thinking of his son while his wife was setting out her family's breakfast on the table, returned his smile. " Ruhi tumhare Adi bhaiya aabhi ghar aa rahe hai" he said kissing sleepy Ruhi's nose.

Would like to join us for breakfast Aditya?' asked Ishita. "I ate before I left" he replied. Raman sat next to his daughter and his eyes were on his son. Come on Adi Bhaiyya' called Ruhi. " Ok can I have an omlette; I don't like paratta's ...please' asked Adi. " Haan haan puttar" smiled Toshiji as she served him one. Ruhi was sent for a bath with Neelu in time for the police to finish their conversation with Ishita. Both Ishita and Adi were to go over to the meet with the Police again to help with sketches of the suspects. From when he stepped into the Bhalla residence till he walked out of the door waving a bye to his grandparents Adi's eyes took turns trailing Ishita and Ruhi. It was obvious to Raman that Adi was holding back a lot. He did not want to move too soon and alienate him but was hoping that someone would help him open up and mentally made a note to call up Bala and have him take Ishita and Adi to the Police later that evening.

After seeing his kids off at school, he came back threw his key on the table skipped to the kitchen again and hugged his mother mummy aaj mai bohot kush hoon Adi aapne aap se yahan aya tha' he smiled. Haan puttar' she hugged him back. Arrey muhje kyon chod diya app ne smiled Romi' as he joined in the hug. AWWW' smiled Ishita from the doorway I wish I had taken a picture of all you'. next time' said Raman punching her shoulder on his was to their room. When Raman walked out dressed it was just him and Ishita at home. He called Mihir and told him that he would work from home. Ishita was glad they had the house to themselves. He walked over and carried her to the sofa. Ishita what would I do without you' he kissed her nose as he was carrying her across. faida hai taang tutne se' she kissed him back on his nose.

have you eaten your medicine' he asked after she had said all that he said which was pretty much the same thing as Adi had told him.

ab so jao, I'll catch up with some office work. Wo cream wo bhi to lagani hai na?'

Mihika called to inform her that she did not get a chance to meet with Shagun in the morning and was not sure if she would be home when Adi gets there. She wanted to speak to Raman before she spoke to Ashok about it. Mihir mera phone hee nahi utta raha hai' she complained. let him be here till he sorts it out with Shagun Mihika, I don't want to get between them' dismissed Raman. He shared his worries about Adi with Ishita and asked her to probe as much as she could on their drive with Bala. He thought that might give Adi the space he needed to open up to Bala.

When Raman reached home after his business dinner Ruhi was already asleep as were the rest of the Bhallas. There was some TV noise behind his bedroom door and some muted lights. movie dekh rahi hai Madrassan' he chuckled while he grabbed a bottle of chilled water. Ishita was sleeping on the couch sitting next to Adi, the movie was stilled and Raman heard whispers on the phone.

Adi' he thought as he stopped short of walking in.

Are you ok?'

yes' replied Adi

what are you doing?'

watching Batman' Adi replied.

how was school?'

Ok' said Adi

did Bala come?'

yes' spat Adi.

bye beta' said Shagun on the other end.

mom why didn't you miss me mom?' whispered Adi looking at Ishita's shut eyes.

ofcourse I miss you' said Shagun

Aaj mai Police station gaya tha mom, I was kidnapped and you didn't even know it' said Adi as he flung his phone and grabbed Ishita's hand.

When Raman pushed the door open after he had heard Adi's side of the conversation and saw his son sitting next to his sleeping wife with entwined fingers and knitted brows.

Are you ok Adi?' asked Raman.

Can I stay here tonight?' asked Adi dropping Ishita's hand.

Of course would like to sleep here or ..'

I'd like to share Ruhi's room' he said

Sure' said Raman.

Thank you Papa' replied Adi and gave him a small smile as he moved to Ruhi's room for the night shutting the door behind him.

Raman sat sniffing on the couch next to his wife when she stretched out to kiss his tears.

Sorry did we wake you up' he looked vision bathed in moonlight as he smiled.

Raman aap ke beta aap pe gaya hai. Haath pakdna hai, baatein bhi karna hai pur sirf jab mai sone ka naatak karthi hoon' replied Ishita adjusting herself on his shoulder.

Ab aap jao Ruhi ke room me check karke aa jao I really need to sleep'

All's well. Ishita tumhari cream?' he asked settling down for the night.

Mihiku helped me'

Arrgh..' he growled.

we can still sleep like we did last night ! I quite enjoyed my day did you' she asked him.

absolutely perfect' he smiled what more does a man need around him - his kids his sleepy wife and his loved ones I have it all now Mrs Bhalla goodnight!' he kissed her cheeks.
