I think the CVs have based this serial now after baccha party on Mahabharata
Its so obvious that there are two sets of kids and Akbar is the Dritharashtra cum Beeshma all in one.
One one side are kids who feel they are wronged by Akbar
This includes Murad, Haider and Zeenat son and may be Daniyal too in future as per some article
The other side is Salim(till anarkali fiasco) and other kids who do not feel betrayed by Akbar and are fine with the attention they are getting.
Kunti the ever suffering mother is none other than our Jodha
Javeeda and Salima is the blind Gandhari that failed to bring up her kids correctly and then regrets later
Ruqaiah shall be the Satyavati of this story except there is no one ready to be Beeshma in our story the sacrificing son or may be a Rahim shall fill that role at a later stage
So this is the list of elders playing out the Mahabharat now the youngsters list
Salim- He shall oscillate between a Arjuna and Karan(after anarkali fiasco he shall harbour hatred of his parents especially father) and then again turn Arjuna later and then Karan then Duryodhan (killing Abul Fazl) and the revolt shall be more like Luv-Kush of Ramayan (where kids want to fight a father who they think wronged them). Salim is a complex human he can be different people at same time soft hearted and forgiving like Arjuna, never forgiving and friend loyal like Karan, a ruthless person killing his perceived enemy who comes in his path deviously like Duryodhan, a son who is at war with father for perceived wrong aka Luv-Kush etc there are many other charcaters you can relate to him like a Kanhaiya with many gopis loving him etc
Haider - Duryodhana (though here Salim shall be his biggest enemy)
Rahim- Yudhistra always on side of right
Murad and Daniyal as kids may be influenced by Duryodhana and be on his side but later shift alliegance to Salim as they grow up (if Ek goes by history)
If they do not go by the history where Salim, Murad and Daniyal were close to each other and had no animosity bet them then Murad and Daniyal shall be like the Kauravas although I think when they become big they may turn the good panadavas and be the Sahadev and Nakul
Anarkali- The draupadi (though she shall not endure humiliation in a dhyut sabha but lose her life in most dreaded way)
Zeenat son- Currently Zeenat son looks positive with his expressions but may be he has no idea about his parents fate and deeds. Once he knows will he remain grateful to Akbar and Salim or want a revenge on them
Man Singh - The Vidhur of this show
In between all this I wonder who shall become a Lord Krishna here
