Tanna detests rehearsing with the comedian for the show 'Comedy Circus'
The discord between teammates, Karishma Tanna and Khayali, in the show 'Comedy Circus' (Sony) just doesn't seem to stop. The jodi may be sharing great onscreen comic chemistry but their incessant fighting off it is often known to create unrest on the sets.
A source says, "They fight over trivial issues. It appears that they are looking for reasons to fight. Recently, they had an argument when Karishma saw Khayali eating raw onions. She was upset because the odour from his mouth would be a put-off during their rehearsals."
Karishma says, "Khayali doesn't realise that he needs to follow etiquette. Although he is good on screen, I really have to bear with him off it." Producer Vipul D Shah agrees to the discord and says, "The argument went on to such an extent that we had to intervene. Khayali was acting difficult when told to refrain from eating onions. Instead he ate some more."
Khayali coolly denied the incident saying, "We only fight over scripts. Karishma loves it during the first reading but doesn't find the same script exciting the second time. If one keeps re-reading the same script, the joy will naturally fizzle out. But that doesn't mean the script is not fine."
