If you guys noticed something about promos, either promos are shot exclusively to grab attention to the track or promos are nothing but edited scenes and a voiceover. Almost all the promos of Shastri sisters fall in the second category.
So as shown in the promo, Rajat drops the ring. I have a feeling he drops it in shock. Minty will keep Rajat in dark and he will think his engagement is with Anu. He will walk towards Devyani with the ring thinking at some point Anu would join him. But then he will realize that it is Devyani he is supposed to get engaged to. He drops the ring in shock and clarifies everything... reason??
An engagement is a big thing.. In a way a broken engagement ruins a reputation more than an engagement that never happened. Rajat will say that there is probably a misunderstanding or something (dont forget Rajat doesnt know that Devyani loves him)
Secondly the actor said in the sbb video that engagement of Rajat and devyani is intended but whether it happens or not is a thing to be seen..
I think Rajat will not put the ring on Devyani's finger. Minty's plan will succeed and this will create tension between Rajat and Anu (with Anu being miffed with Rajat) and Devyani and Anu (Devyani being the immature self)
