Rekha came into Amitabh's life long after he was married to Jaya. Rekha and Amitabh's first hit as a couple - Do Anjane - came after Shweta and Abhishek both were born.

On the Simi Garewal show, Jaya Bhaduri had in fact become extremely agitated, saying if a husband strays, wife is the first one to sense, and she had even scolded Amitabh for taking crap for so long...😆

His whole family has vouched for him being a great son ( he did set very high standards in taking care of his parents), great father.....was he a great husband? Only Amitabh and Jaya can answer. But Rekha was the second woman, and would have destroyed his parents, his wife's and his kids life had she succeded in keeping him.

extremely well said Minnie. and to answer the question about rekha's marriage..........she had married some poor fellow by the name of mukesh. i think he was a business man but not too sure.

he ended up committing suicide while was married to her.....and she didn;t even go to his funeral. a lot of speculation as to why she didnt attend....family issues with mukesh's family is one....but again dont know for sure.

i just think no matter how many issues you have with your spouse's family you should attend the funeral at least! its not like they were divorced or anything....they were still married.

i also read her interview a few years back where she claimed that her and amitabh still meet time to time (meet in what sense i have no idea.) but it looks like she likes to keep adding to the rumours.

I quiet don't agree with what you guys are saying.

Rekha did marry Mukesh Agarwal, he was a bussiness man, Rekha filed for divorce when he was still alive, she was in USA shooting for some film when he hanged himself at home BUT he did left a note saying that Rekha is not responsible for his death plus all his wealth was given to Rekha by court bcoz she was still legally his wife.

That Amitabh episode, when amitabh married jaya it was surprise to so many actresses like Rekha, Zenat aman, Parveen babi coz he was having affair with all of them but Jaya came from nowhere in his life.

Rekha and amitabh did had an affair before his marriage, she was madly in love with him but he had something else in his mind. It was only after Silsila Jaya stoped him from working with Rekha.

I wish Rekha never work with him even again 😡, she has suffered heart ache for a decade now 😭 he does not deserve to be no near Rekha now.

He is using Rekha this time only since the whole industry turned out against him, none wants to work with ash & abhi, he made his old friends upset too.

Amitabh and Ash both are ambitious and will do anything to climb up the ladder, I don't wish to see Rekha once again used by him

im not quite happy wid da kinda movies Rekha is doing...she has been quite a downer lately doing movies like Bachke Rahna Baba wid malika sherawat and more which didnt do good business.May be doing some decent movies wid amitab n abishek,keeping personal problems aside,can help her augment her status in bollwood

she couldve left the shooting to attend her husband's funeral. that would only be the right thing to do! and no need to bring in ash into this.....this article is NOT about her but rekha and amitabh.
