Surpanakha was going to kill Sita. To save Sita, Lakshmana cut off the nose and the ears of Surpanakha on getting a signal from Rama. What do you think Rama and Lakshmana should have done? Let Sita be killed?
leaving ur wife after listening to a common mans comments is ok!
It is not important whether the man was common or not. Rama was king. For him all of his citizens were equal - common or not. But the question is why Rama left Sita when he knew that Sita was innocent. Frankly speaking, I also find this behaviour of Rama as improper. But I would have considered it equally improper even if allegations had been made by some VIP and not a common man.
what do u expect from a brother to do if its like throwing acid on his sis's face !
It was that sis Surpanakha was started all this.
& who attacked whom? It was not Ravan who went all the way to Ayodhya to attack but it was the other side who came down all the way to south( near equator) to attack Lanka.why they dint settle down for Banvaas in North , why they travelled thousands of kilometers to Lanka? It was all under a political strategy .
Please read Ramayana to know what happened. Initially Rama did not go to Lanka. Rather Ravan came and kidnapped Sita. He took Sita to Lanka. Do you think Rama should not have rescued Sita?
& who says Ravaan attacked saints , do u know his father himself was an influenced saint & Ravaan infact respected them.
Yes, Ravan's father was a great saint. But Ravan did not respect saints. In Ramayan it is clearly written that Ravan and his men troubled saints a lot. That is why sage Vishvamitra came to Dashrath to ask for help. As help, he asked that Rama and Lakshmana be sent with him to kill the demons. The bottom line is that Ravana did not respect saints.
Lanka was the nativeland of Ravaan's ancestors and was taken by devta's by hook & crook ,
Lanka was of Kuber. Ravan snatched it.
