Yes. It is for this..When she never meet any press for that statement, she just wants to clear this out.

I wonder if media makes fabricated statements of her when she hasn't spoken a word since she's known to speak a lot.

Why not? Media is not sati savitri either. Unless she has pre- symptom of Alzheimer because she is not the snake type.

I think media do fabricate lot of stories...

She could have send the Diwali wish to followers in a different tweet from her reply to media misquotations in another. 😆
