Now the character Sanam is totally different from both Kushi and Zoya, not ONLY with regards to the OTT comedy...Sanam is a much stronger and mature character in addition to being very non judgmental...In the face humor is not part of her character at all...I would say that her character is more realistic and practical compared to both Kushi and Zoya...And Sanam's character perfectly fits with the kind of life she has had having to be responsible for her Badi Ammi and Haya through out her life.

Even though I loved Khushi, Sanam's character is my all time fav. for now...and SJ is perfect in playing her role...
Frankly Sanam brings out the BEST in SJ while Zoya brought out the worst bits of her acting ability I would say...However, Seher is an improvement over Zoya with regards to comedic timing definitely. No doubt all in all SJ's acting has improved immensely.

As for one liners or more humor for Sanam...I don't want to change ANYTHING about her character...IMO...She is just PERFECT as she is right now...until Cvs start butchering her character as well...but till now it has been perfect.

I think both sanaya and surbhi have the tendency to go ott or overact...SI mainly with regards to her body language and surbhi with her voice,so there I agree. But expressions wise I think she has given many cute and funny and adorable scenes as zoya.
@ red - umm honestly how many times do I have to say I don't even wish for that kind of humour for sanam😆...I do understand that would spoil her character. But that is not the only type of humour..that's all I have been saying.
@ BOLD - I understand, like you said you are her fan/love her so wouldn't want to change anything about her...I have had my share of those heroines too, who were not really funny and what others would perhaps find boring but I don't/didn't.

You guess wrong,I do know about sanam's background...but fail to understand what point you want to put forward by talking about it.

the point here i think is that sanam was quite funny when she was running her own dhaba..
i think later on the things that have happened in her life have made her what she is .. but she def is the heart and soul of QH2 and one of the main reasons for the show to be a hit.
her character is one that has been written very realistically, not at all OTT.
as for fun, when it was time for sanam to have fun and add comedy back to her life, her evil twin took her place.. so u cant blame sanam.. its her evil twin sunehri that snatched all the happiness out of sanam.

I don't think khushi and zoya were clowns, they were endearing to me..and not EVERY comic scene of theirs was OTT,Zoya specifically got less ott stuff than khushi...one of the initial scenes where zoya taunts asad that he takes his name so seriously that he even sits on one chair, yeah I think that whole thing was kind of awesome.I also think Khushi was the perfect balance of a self respecting and a funny character initially(something sanam isn't)...pity it didn't last long.
I don't remember any funny scene of sanam.Happy?Yes.Funny?No.If thereave been such scenes they must be really few and perhaps only mildly amusing.
When she is not giving it back to aahil(these scenes I do like most of the times) and caring about him(I really liked how she hugged him) she is talking about her childhood and her dreams and I don't really care for that kind of stuff.
I already said sanam need not be crazy or OTT to be funny, some one liners would suit her character I think.

Oh yes, Khushi and Zoya were indeed clowns.
I meant that you liked that scene cause you like OTT stuff, like you mentioned.

I don't have an issue with OTT characters at all. Evidence: I loved Khushi! She was absolutely crazy, but that was her charm for me. 😆 Yeah I thought that Zoya scene was awesome too, but she was annoying most of the time for me, even though she was not as OTT as Khushi.

Sanam is not supposed to be a humorous sorta character, I guess she is more realistic but she has had her share of wry sarcastic moments of humour as well as some awesome one liners too. I guess you have missed them. 😆 There was this one scene when Aahil's girlfriends came over, when they were at the dhaaba plot. She used sarcastic humour there when she took a dig at Aahil for his past girlfriends. I thought that was great. 😆 As well as her one liner about him being like Emraan Hashmi and Salman Khan was awesome too.

Every character need not be humorous at all. Sanam is a much better character than Khushi and Zoya cause she is ace in all other departments, mainly in self-respect and maturity.

^^okay they were indeed clowns for you and for me indeed they weren't😆...lets leave it at this, let's leave the whole discussion/argument too..because I will find sanam boring no matter what anybody writes here and you guys won't no matter what I write.

^^ Sure, they will always indeed be clowns for me. 😆

P.S. I totally gotcha with my point about Sanam being a better character overall than Zoya/Khushi. 😉

sorry missed your reply earlier..you perhaps do make good points but I think even if the swap hadn't happened we would have seen a happy side and not a funny one.I do find her boring man...I can't do anything about it,the feminist in me respects her strength but the viewer in me is bored by her...and now I sound like a broken record so will say what I said to KaanKeNiche,I shall end it here. But thank you for putting your point across the way you did, really.😊
