This is a first for me on the YHM forum. I'm an avid reader of many IshRa OSs here but I've never made a post on them. Recently, I've felt like making a post just to point out a few things, things that I feel the CVs have forgotten ever since the show has shifted to the 7.30 p.m. slot. I know there are many things that many fans here are complaining about but today, I just wanted to focus on the current track of Raman-Ishita-Mani.
So, I was one of those who welcomed the whole misunderstanding track as it gives us an insight to Raman's insecurities when it comes to the women in his life. I applaud the CVs for actually showing the shift in Raman so well as he struggles with his insecurities. At one time, he says his Ishita can never do such a thing and a moment after, his insecurities take over for valid reasons with Ishita's hide & seek game with Mani. I thought Raman's emotional turmoil was shown beautifully. In fact, I loved how he seeked Mihir's advice and wanted to talk it out with Ishita before the final blow.
This was why I was actually looking forward to the heartbreaking track that was laid for this week but after reading a few spoilers today, I just wanted to make this post to ensure that the CVs handle Ishita's reaction to Raman's doubt in a sensible away and not in a typical TV serial wife style.
I'm not saying Ishita should not be mad at Raman. She has the right to do so as she had thought they have more than enough faith in each other. For god's sake, he has entrusted his daughter and son, his whole family in her hands. Who would do that if they did not have faith in the other person? So, yes, her anger is valid.
And here comes the BUT!
But this is NOT just about trust alone. It is to do with Raman's INSECURITIES. Of course, Raman knows that Ishita is not Shagun but after what he has been through, the most minute of things will be magnified for him. And that's what happened with the case of Mani and Ishita.
I just hope the CVs don't show an unreasonable Ishita who will not be able to understand why Raman doubted her. Yes, he should have cleared it with her if he ever had a doubt but circumstances pushed him over the edge and given his past, that push didn't have to be a big one.
I want the CVs to show that while Ishita is angry at Raman, she also gets that Raman's doubt was not cause he did not trust her. It was due to his insecurities. I do not know how the CVs are going to do this. A part of me wants a heartfelt conversation between Ishita and Mihir perhaps as Mihir has seen Raman go through this before and he would be the best person to explain Raman's insecurities to Ishita.
Basically, I just wanted to make this post to get a message to the CVs to please handle this track in a practical way as that is what is expected from YHM. We do not expect some 1 month separation track. We are used to seeing Raman and Ishita talking it out, no matter how big the problem has been and I hope this is the same. They should take a page from previous scenes like the party scene where Raman and Ishita discussed Ishita's infertility issues or when Raman asked Ishita if she's happy in this marriage. I want to see that MATURE IshRa in this situation as well and I hope that's what I'll get after watching this whole track with so much optimism.
