Thanks for sharing, NC. Very informative.

I get now why people fight for single release. So even if the footfall is the same for single or shared release, the week people watched it also matters. And if the audience don't watch it in the first week but do so in the fourth week, the distributor loses 20%.

It is very risky to be a distributor then.

It doesn't seem fair that Producers and Exhibitors make huge lumps of money while the Distributors and the films suffer.

I still don't understand it completely.

What is a semi hit? What is below average and above average?

On what basis are these verdicts given?

How is JH and BB semi hit when distributors have lost money?

How is Ra1 a hit?
