Judging the Judges…
Well, our great judges or mentors, as they are sometimes called, have been grilling contestants of talent shows quite well. These shows, at times, are more dramatic than any of the saas-bahu sagas. In this list, we judge the judges of the 3 singing talent hunts that are good pastime on the weekends.
Indian Idol 3 (Sony)
Annu Maliek
Looks- 2/10
Performance and style-8/10
Singing- 4/10
It is because of his superlative performance that everyone tunes in to the show. Though he deserves a 10/10, he lost out on those sad couplets that he comes up with every week… some innovation!
Alisha Chinai
Looks- 6/10
Performance and style-5/10
Singing- 7/10
She is the sweetie pie of the show and always bares the brunt of those harsh comments given by Annu Maliek. What she needs to realize is that she isn't a teen bopper anymore.
Udit Narayan
Looks- 2/10
Performance and style-6/10
Singing- 9/10
Udit Narayan is the calm and composed one on the show, lekin his and Annu Maliek's jodi is fun to watch.
Javed Akhtar
Looks- 4/10
Performance and style-6/10
Singing-??
Never heard him sing; don't know why he judges people who sing. But the irony of the situation is that this non singer gives the most valuable and sensible comments.
