| | | | Sunidhi Chauhan with Amit Verma | Sunidhi Chauhan is set to make her debut on the small screen with Hotel Kingston (Star One). As part of the grand finale, Sunidhi will sing Deedar De from Dus and Aisa Jadu from Khakhee.
As a part of the current track, the hotel is hosting its very first television awards show, culminating on September 29.
Among the popular faces on the show will be Rakshanda Khan (who plays Naina, a rude and arrogant person who is vying to get the top actress award); Mauli Ganguli (plays Urvashi, the owner of an event company who lost the show to another company and wants to create chaos with the help of sidekick Kamraan, played by Gufi Paintal).
Hussain plays himself and also comperes the awards ceremony. Mihir Misra plays Aryan, an ambitious TV star who has an affair with another actress, Mohini Zinta.
Describing her experience, Sunidhi says, "It was great fun. I think the episode has turned out really well, and I love singing Deedar De and Aisa Jadu."
When asked what got her inspired to be part of a TV show, she says, "I liked the idea of performing on a TV awards show, which is part of a serial. The idea is quite unique and don't think has happened before."
Talking about her album, which is in the works, she says, "I want to take some more time on that. I really have been busy recording songs, so maybe next year, I will release my private album."
