Amidst all the new happening in Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we can't ignore the change in Naitik's attitude towards his young boy Naksh.
What has brought about that change, you may ask?
Well, we know how, a few days back, some women landed at the Singhania house to claim their rights over Naksh. And how the women gave Naitik and Akshara a tough time in collating all the proofs to prove them wrong. Although, the women left empty handed yet the fear of losing Naksh has left Naitik stricken like never before.
As a result, ever since that episode, Naitik has become overprotective and possessive about Naksh. So much so that he does not even allow him to venture out for play or anything else. In the recent episode, we saw Naitik scolding Naksh for plugging the vacuum cleaner in the switch board. He got wary and gave his piece of mind very bitterly to Naksh. This attitude has led Naksh to start distancing from his father to get off his radar. On the other hand, Akshara and other members of the family were seen getting worried for Naitik's new temperament towards Naksh. These actions did not go unnoticed especially by Dadda ji, who later chided Naitik for dealing with Naksh too harshly.
Later, Naitik disclosed his feelings to Akshara by saying that after losing his mother Gayatri, and his own deathly illness, he fears losing Naksh to the ruthless world.
Well, that could be just a passing phase in his life. We hope things will turnaround for the better soon.
