What's your take on this film? Its one of the biggest hits of all time. It clashed with Lagaan and while Gadar became ATBB, Lagaan was just a hit. I feel Lagaan will still be talked about in years to come but not sure about Gadar.

Saw this on TV once and found it unintentionally funny. Am I the only one who didn't like it?

Couldn't even sit through 30 minutes of it.

Lagaan was clearly the better film, I'm glad it still did well despite the clash with Gadar, which took the BO by storm. Why Gadar did so well, I'll never know. 😆

I was still in school when it released and I loved it along with all my hostelmates.

You're not the only one. I cringed throughout it. 😆 Too much patriotism. Sunny Paaji and Amisha's haystack scene during some song was the most cringeworthy. 😆

I dont like gadar But masses Loved it .
Lagaan is better film IMO

Lagaan was the better film...

but gadar had superb dialogues which appealed to masses n it had that 'fight til the end for family n love' kind of fantasy which worked ... n ofcourse the india pakistan angle ... i remember reading somewhere that gadar is sec only to sholay in terms of number of tickets sold... ATBB !
