When this track ends, then, like in Atifa track, all will realise the extent to which Jalal loves Jo..

His distancing Jo from himself is an act of love...to repent for that other act if love which both feel is responsible for Hussain's death...He saw that Jo was in a much worse state after Hussein's death than after Hassan's death...so was he...

He cannot bear to put them both thru another ordeal like this...also, their faith in God is shaken very badly n everything appears so bleak...Their soul talk said it all...

JJ Soul talk: (actual words)
Jalal: Woh mohabbat jo hum dono ke beech thi, woh uss raat ke baad zindagi ki sabse badi galti mehsoos hone lagi thi humein...jaise ki hamari mohabbat hi hamari aulaad ki maut ki wajah bani thi...iss baar bina koi alfaaz kahe, bina ek doosre se alvida kahe, hum alag ho gaye the...

...uss raat ka andhera aisi deewar ban gaya tha jo saamne reh kar rahi bhi humein milne nahi de raha tha..."

This pretty much explains everything...but only for those who wish to see Jalal's pov also. ..not otherwise...

N Jo agreed...that...

"Kuch bacha bhi nahi tha jo hum dono ko jode...samvaad ki wajah bane..."

So basically, both thought this was the most appropriate way for repentance...yes, Jalal took the initiative for this distance, but as Adi pointed out, it was AFTER he confirmed with her what her thought process was, n she concurred with him...so we have the lovers repenting for the parents' irreplaceable loss...

Often, after extreme emotional trauma, like the one JJ went thru after losing both HH (that too, learning that BOTH were gruesomely murdered), the healing process is not complete without this self imposed exile after a self released verdict that they could have warded off this calamity had they been more responsible...

N so, their traumatised mind is sort of punishing them for their self proclaimed "irresponsible" act...

I'm usually not so affected by melodrama in teleshows...n lol most of the time...but yesterday's epi traumatised me to the core...even more than the actual HH death epis...

My heart reached out for a hug for the real JJ...as also for the REEL JJ...may the lovers find solace in each others arms soon, after the parents' repentance is over...😭

Khushi, if see the Asian and specifically the Indian social thinking, u will see that when a couple become parents they are taught to now be only parents and forget themselves as individuals and as couples - and its only when ppl realise that they are multiple role players and cannot be uni dimesional that they will find that balance within - and this is what JJ need to do now when they understand that being lovers in no way lessens them as anything else

exactly! and that is what they need to realize that what they did was not a sin but their need for each other...and balance is the right word!

Mandy...when one is so bereft of emotions, like JJ are at the moment after HH death, i doubt if Jalal realised he was rude or for that matter, Jo thought that Jalal was rude...

They r both so engulfed in pain that rudeness, politeness, etc r superficial at the moment...they cannot touch them...we have to look at the broader picture...which is of extreme gloom, doom & hopelessness for them both, which they think is due to their act of love...hence, they feel it's best to repent this way...

Adi...it was just their misfortune that Zeenat killed Hussein during their act of love, while Hussein was under Jo's care...Zeenat toh would have killed Hussein anyways na...

N anyways, do parents stop being lovers once babies are born???...no, ...coz love multiplies when a baby is born, though time definitely gets divided...

N the worst tragedy is that they were actually consoling each other for Hassan's loss in their own private way when the evil zeenat struck 😭...truly tragic...

Is not punishing Ruku a part of his love as a parent? Sorry but it is Jodha's character that is shining more than jalal.

That Ela is a matter of perspective - for some of us both are shining equally but then there are those for who Akbar will always be the bad one and Jodha will always be perfection when it is definitely not the case.
